Sounds like the Cascadian nations are more popular, at least for now.
Anyway, I still need to finish up the timeline and calendar, as well as a few other minor details. Then I'll do an official interest check, have a formal vote, and while everyone is working on characters, I'll work on getting the first chapter ready.

Whoa, that’s a lot sooner than I expected. I might not be ready by then. (I thought one of the other games I’m in would be closer to finishing…)

This will be run like Module Matine, right? If so, I may be interested in joining, although I have not any idea about a potential character yet.

My favorite was the Azure Coast.
Maybe I missed it- is there more info about the gullfolk?

Whoa, that’s a lot sooner than I expected. I might not be ready by then. (I thought one of the other games I’m in would be closer to finishing…) I mean, I have been working on this project for six months now. But really, while I don't have a specific time table for any of this, it will still be awhile. I've almost finished prepping the setting broadly, but I still need to write up the first adventure, create the NPCs, map out the starter garden, etc. But I can't do any of that until I know where we're starting, hence why the need for a vote. So even once I set up the recruitment thread, it may be several weeks, maybe even a month or longer, before actual play begins. So basically, you're going to have plenty of time to work on a character. This will be run like Module Matine, right? If so, I may be interested in joining, although I have not any idea about a potential character yet. Exactly. I'll go into more detail when the recruitment thread goes up, but basically the plan is for the party to complete one adventure (around 3 chapters or so), and then we have another vote on whether we continue with that party, in that setting, with a new adventure or roll up an entirely new party and run an adventure somewhere else in the world. My favorite was the Azure Coast. Maybe I missed it- is there more info about the gullfolk? The Gullfolk are an indigenous culture that largely dwells up north, in the Ravenite lands, but there are some remnants in Cascadian territories. They are loosely based on the Wakashan people. They're usually a spiritual people, deeply in touch with nature. They aren't, strictly speaking, one of the Cascadian cultures, though, so I didn't include them in the culture section (they also don't have any nations of their own in the area; there are some Gullfolk nations far to the north, though).

Race has been decoupled from culture entirely. After the Awakening, all societies, cultures, religions, technology, history and such were lost. The survivors had to start over again. So every land is varied and diverse. There are no Dwarven countries or Elven religions, or Orcish languages; it's all one big melting pot.

Oh, I'm not worried about making a character. It's just that I don't really want to increase the number of games I'm in at once.

That's understandable, if you feel you have too much on your plate. I'm in the process of trying to end several of my games, but as it's pbp, it's a long, slow process.

Okay, I think...I have pretty much everything public now over on the Chronicles of Overmorrow forum. So, is there anything else I need to add to either the Basic Info thread or the Character Creation thread? I feel like I've covered everything I can but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Hmm... How do the different religions interact among each other? Like, a follower of Elonna and a follower of the Raven would see eye to eye or be against each other? Are Chrysalists persecuted since they believe in only one entity (so I guess they don't really care about Elonna?), etc.. stuff like that.

Hmm... other things that come to mind, are there like demons, devils, celestials, etc in this setting? I think you said something about it once, but I can't find it in the two topics.

Are Chrysalists persecuted since they believe in only one entity (so I guess they don't really care about Elonna?), etc.. stuff like that. It varies from region to region and person to person, but speaking broadly, they generally don't get along. Ravenites, Trailwalkers and Chrysalists do have a lot in common with the Elonnori. But most of their experiences with the Ravenites are as raiders or invaders, so there's no love lost there. Likewise, there have been numerous minor skirmishes fought over the years among Riverdom and the Trailwalkers, although they have an unsteady peace at the moment (but many believe they are infiltrating and slowly conquering the Riverdom from within). There hasn't really been much conflict with the Chrysalists, so I suppose they are fairly neutral toward them. The Eurekists, though, are another matter. They are obsessed with learning, including about taboo things like Ancient One knowledge. They also don't really care much about nature, happy to mine, cut down trees, overhunt/fish, etc. They've also fought numerous border skirmishes with the Siyouans over the years, as well. Hmm... other things that come to mind, are there like demons, devils, celestials, etc in this setting? I think you said something about it once, but I can't find it in the two topics. They exist, although the Elonnori don't view them as divine. They see them as spirits. They think anything and everything extraplanar is actually just spirits of the land, sky, sea and so forth. To them, the afterlife is returning to the planet, so they have no concept of things like Heavens and Hells.
