Regarding how Theron speaks: this Youtube video is a good example of how his voice sounds in my head. Just found this while looking for information on Infra/Darkvision...Which accent are you keen to? County Cork? Posh or Absent Th Cork?

How very generous of Lillian to be thinking of us rubes who cannot see in the dark Edit: Does Jherek know about any mines out in the right direction? Is it a Knowledge (Local) roll?

Just found this while looking for information on Infra/Darkvision...Which accent are you keen to? County Cork? Posh or Absent Th Cork? I think of him as sounding just like the host of that video, Cian Twomey, actually Generally pretty mild accent with a bit of the sing-songy Irish lilt to it...at some point I'd mentioned that Theron's accent becomes much more pronounced when he's speaking in Thieves Cant.

Did you find what you were looking for, by the way? Well, four party members have infravision and five do not, so it's a good idea to have some light sources. A local history check could turn up something, yes.

IM till looking for it. I didn't not want to be the one who asked a question that had been answered already.
Soooooo...Infravision/Darkvision works as in the PHB?

I'd asked Daos about it a few weeks ago, phrasing the question like this: His reply was "standard infravision". I'm assuming this means the straight by-the-book definition of that phrase described in Chapter 13 of the DMG.

Yes. It's basically just night vision. You can see in the dark (but not magical darkness) as well as you can in the light. (However, actual light, like from a torch, prevents you from using it). You don't see thermal images or anything like that.

So fun fact: You lose a lot of Depth perception with night vision.
Would that be how it works? I just want to know so I can get my mind wrap my mind around what Jherek sees when he cruises the night.

Basically how it works, is if Jherek is in non-magical darkness, he can see exactly the same as he could while in the light, but only as far as 60'.

Cool. Works for me. Jherek doesn't know about any particular cave...

Ez's wish list for this chapter;
At least one fireside chat about the nature of love and relationships (Ladonna, Ingot and Katya will all, I think, have very different opinions).
An opportunity for Katya to do something brave and selfless.
One adorable scene in which Jherek has to help Katya navigate in the dark for whatever reason.
Ingot being super bro tier in general.
A sufficiently dramatic reveal of Katya's holy powers (though preferably not her actual patron).

Wow...Lillian, apparently, is the least popular character in LSG.

Well, this journey will take several days, so there will absolutely be campsites along the way.
It's an adventure, so hopefully there will be several such opportunities.
Feasible, as they will have to infiltrate a goblin's lair.
I'm not entirely sure what that means...>_>
So either Lay on Hands or Cure Disease, I'd say. Her other current powers are probably too subtle to be noticeable.
I think she's just a big unknown at this point. Nobody knows anything about her.

Wow...Lillian, apparently, is the least popular character in LSG. I'd say she's the most unknown, but to equate that to unpopular, I think, is stretching the definition quite a bit. Ladonna and Ryan previously went on an adventure together. Theron and Jherek are childhood friends, as are Jherek and Katya. Theron and Katya got to know one another a little bit at the festival, so they're not quite strangers anymore. Lillian just hasn't 'clicked' with anybody yet. That's to be expected, right, given her quiet, distant nature. But it's not that our characters don't like her...it's just that nobody really knows much about her, yet. The game's still pretty much in its early infancy -- there's lots of time for that to change. Our three newest players just joined...*checks*...wow, a month-and-a-half ago? The time sure does fly... Anyways, I wouldn't sweat it. Do your best to get into your character's head, let her come out of her shell 'organically', and if there's something any of us can do to help make the game more fun for you, let us know! I'm pretty sure that's what we're all here for, after all.

I think your choice of traveling music will do a lot to flesh Lilian out.
Examples: Whereever I May Roam -Metallica The Trail We Blze - Elton John Blood on the Risers - 82nd Airborne Ive Been Everywhere - Johnny Cash Freebird- Lynyrd Skynyrd
All those say a bunch about who you are...I mean..fluffed for the setting of course!
After that, close proximity means we will all know each other rather intimately by the end. One of my favorite and least favorite things to do during my military service were long range patrols...12 dudes living in fox holes together for a couple of weeks, constantly on the move...you learn a lot.
In LSG...there will be 9 youn people marching to certain death, having to find some sorta joy in each day. Gonna be good.
