The party again returns to the central chamber. There are two paths remaining now. There are the closed doors to the north, and the open tunnel to the southeast.
===========
Drezden is now in light encumbrance (no effect).

Drezden "Lets go check southeast next. I still don't feel like messing with closed doors just yet."

The party takes the southeast passage, and at the end they find a room identical to the one to the northeast. It's a look out point, although this one faces further south. Looking through the slits, they can see a Zhentish caravan making its way to the town. ================

Drezden takes a look around and tries to discern if this lookout room has been used recently same procedure as the last lookout room. Afterwards he will head back to the main room and go down the southern passage to see how Narta and her group are managing. "Alright I'll see if the place was used recently then i suggest we go see if we can locate Narta she and her group have been gone for far too long.I'm worried about them they had more injured than we have and we checked three passages to their one in the same amount of time, something aint right here."

Drezden once again finds no evidence that anyone has been in this room--aside from the party, that is--in at least a century, or perhaps longer. With that done, the group returns to the central chamber and then head south. The hall turns to the right then opens up into a room. This large, vaulted room is stuffy and makes the lantern light flicker low. There are two dwarven skeletons lying near an altarstone at the far end of the room. There is writing on the wall, and a water wheel stands against the far wall. Narta and the other dwarves are here, and seem fine. The skeletons are wearing chain mail, and one of them has a silver icon around its neck. A rusted helmet lies nearby. Narta is holding a short sword in her hand, looking it over. The other dwarves are kneeling by the altar, praying. =========== Drezden makes a tracking check [NWP 15] (1d20): 13, pass. There are no tracks.

Holding her own holy symbol aloft, Eringard approaches the altar. She does not want to disturb the praying dwarfs, so she doesn't approach the skeleton wearing the icon yet, but will do it once the dwarfs have finished their prayer.

Drezden approaches the alter with the warhammer in hand and places the warhammer before the alter and gives a moment of prayer to the dwarven gods. Then gets up picks up the warhammer again and investigates the water wheel feeling it oddly out of place on the inside of a building. Afterwards waits for Narta and her group to finish their prayers.

Drezden goes to investigate the water wheel. It looks like, once upon a time, the wheel was used to provide power to circulate the air in the Eyrie. That may be why the air feels so stale in this room. The wheel dried out long ago.
The dwarves finish their prayers and get to their feet. Narta takes note of the party's arrival. "Ah, you're back. Anything interesting to report?" she asks.
Eringard approaches the dwarf skeleton and looks at the icon around his neck. It's a medallion with a picture of a gemstone on it, with a mountain silhouette behind it.

Drezden reports about the smithing room and shows Narta the warhammer "We found two lookout rooms and a room with this hammer on an anvil. Though once I picked up the warhammer runes that were on it vanished."

Eringard points to the icon on the skeleton's neck. "Does anyone know this symbol?" she asks.

Narta look at the hammer, then says, "It was probably trapped, set to trigger if any non dwarf touches it. Once you touched it, the trap must have disarmed." After some thought, she adds, "Lookout rooms, eh? I bet those would prove pretty useful in keeping track of Zhentarim troop and caravan movements."
"Of course," Narta replies. "It is the holy symbol of Dumathoin, the keeper of secrets under the mountains. He is one of several gods of my people."

Drezden "Only thing we haven't checked is the double doors to the north. Hoping we can get a trap checker to test the doors before we go trying to open them. Yes the look out posts are the northeast and southeast passages. They had real good vantage points to lookout on and i can tell would be near impossible to spot from the outside."

"There was nothing of much interest without opening doors. That is next, we were just a little worried." Elvarian adds.
