I love how 90% of the roleplaying in this game so far is just all the different players/characters bouncing off each other. A lack of NPCs will do that.

Reaching into her pouch, Teakettle fishes around and then randomly pulls out the first thing she grabs, which happens to be a bottle of Greek fire lol wut I am going to have to think for a minute about what Teakettle is going to do with that.

I actually start out most of my games this way--just with the players together and bouncing off each other. But usually things wind down before the end of the first page and I have to begin the plot proper. So congrats on this group for making it up to the third page so far.
I'm sure it will come in handy during the next match.

I feel like this is a good opportunity to remind you guys that Daos has a nifty house rule that we do not have to take penalties to attack to do nonlethal damage

Fun fact. I created that rule in an attempt to reduce murder-hobos in my game. I figured the reason nobody ever takes anyone alive is because it's too hard (the standard rule in 2E, if you aren't aware, is that to deal non-lethal damage you have to take a -4 to hit). So I removed the penalty entirely.
But most of my parties kill every enemy they meet anyway, so...welp!

Hey Daos how big is the arena?

About 150 feet wide and 300 feet long, so about as large as a football field.

How hard would it be to get into the audience from where we are?

You would need to approach a wall and climb up it. It's twenty feet tall and has no hand or foot holds. There are four archer towers at the edges of the stadium, each with archers on them. They are meant to put down wild beasts who get out of control or stop slaves from trying to escape or harm the audience. So assuming you could climb the wall and survive the archers' assault, your next obstacle would be some sharp metal spikes at the top edge of the wall, sort of a primitive barbed wire, to prevent slaves from escaping. If you could get through that, as well, then you could reach the audience. But dozens of armed guards would immediately be summoned to chase after you, so you'd have have a few moments. The audience, consisting of ogres, trolls and other monsters might also attack in the meantime.

Is it okay for Darios to have cast some spells while getting ready for the fight?
I'm interested in casting strength on Darios and I can offer an enlarge for anyone else who's interested. With Darios' caster level an enlarged character increases in size by 50% and gets the same increase to their damage rolls (the die only, not bonuses due to Str, class, or magic) for 25 rounds.

Sure, go ahead and roll the 1d8 to see how many STR points you get.

Sure, go ahead and roll the 1d8 to see how many STR points you get. Should I also roll for my Natural Fighting now? In case that's fine: 80aezyRJ1d20 -fail to get an extra attack/round if I roll a 20. Edit: Ug, really? :/ Is it okay for Darios to have cast some spells while getting ready for the fight? I mean, more damage sounds neat to Runt 1d20
