"Doors here, doors there. We may as well see what's beyond this one before we descend further," Malavar suggests. "Jaxle, would you care to look this one over?"

Jaxle looks over the door carefully. Not finding any traps, he starts work on picking the lock. After several minutes, he manages to get it open and then stands aside for the others to take the lead.

Pushing open the door, Malavar looks inside to see if the coast is clear or if there are any obvious threats within.

As soon as Malavar pushes the door open, another glyph appears on the door, flickers, and then sends a jolt of electricity through the cleric's body. The room itself is quite large. Two long tables stand in the center of the room. Shattered glass and broken lab equipment are scattered throughout. Shelves line the walls, some with jars still intact, with strange writing on their labels. Other shelves stand bare, their jars smashed on the floor below. There is a door centered on the north wall and also one on the east just north of the door they just opened. The west wall has a table against it, its contents covered by a blanket, buried in dust and webs. "What manner of strange room is this?" Krah wonders aloud. =============== Malavar takes (1d4): 1 electric damage. Malavar becomes lightly wounded. YbYU97N31d41d4

Drezden "Not dwarven make as far as I can tell appears to be more like the crazy design of a human mage to me."

"GAH! Another cursed trap!" Malavar spits. "At least the presence of the trap would indicate that this is a room that Damien wanted to keep secure...though it hardly looks like a place we're likely to find the recipe or any samples of the finished product."

Dallion stops and looks at the situation before casting Armor on himself. "I agree this is getting old fast...the issue is i am sure there will be more traps and they will probably be deadlier then these have been."

Dallion casts a spell of protection upon himself, while the others peek through the doorway into the room. Krah snorts derisively. "This whole tower is cursed and should be destroyed, if you ask me."
===========
Dallion casts Armor on himself. It will last until he takes 9 points of damage.

"Some sort of laboratory, I think," Malavar says. "Maybe where Damien created those awful little homonculi that have plagued us?"
"And yes, I agree that more traps seem likely. Grisly though it may be, if we run into any more skeletons, I'm beginning to think we should bring some bones with us once they're defeated and toss them into every room and at every door or section of corridor from here to the bottom of the tower. With any luck we'll activate and avoid further traps that way. Or masonry. We could drag some masonry around too."

"All the more reason to leave it be," Krah states. "Whatever dark secrets to be found here deserve to remain buried forever."

Drezden "Well at this point might as well check the last two doors and see what we have. I'll open em this time if you'd like."

Jaxle looks between the north and east doors. "Which one first, though?" he asks.

Drezden "North then East." he replies heading to the north door first and waiting for a regular trap check.

Malavar takes position a step behind Drezden, ready to intervene should anything spring out from behind the door or if a trapdoor or something similar were to open up beneath Jaxle or Drezden.
