Jaxle looks over the north door carefully then nods to Drezden. "Looks all clear to me. Should be safe," he tells the ranger.

As soon as Drezden opens the door, a small, barbed javelin fires from the wall opposite, punching through his armor and stabbing him in the chest. A moment later, a heavy stone block that is studded with small spikes, which is attached to the javelin via a chain, drops into a hole in the ground...and like a fish caught on a hook, reels in Drezden with it. He is pulled into the hole and falls straight at the spiked block. Through the pain, Drezden tries to orient himself to his new surroundings. Sitting against the back wall of this small cell is a skeleton--an all-too-familiar barbed javelin protruding from its rib cage. It begins to stand up... =========== Trap fires a barbed javelin at Drezden [TH 15] (1d20): 19, hit for (1d4): 2 piercing damage. 2C4|Ux5U1d201d4Drezden hits (1d6): 6 spikes on the block and takes (6d4): 1,3,1,2,3,4 = 14 piercing damage. "Drezden!" Malavar shouts in alarm. "Rope! We need rope!" he tells to his companions.

Drezden groans holding the harpoon through his body and shakes his head seeing the possible future fate for himself.

Acting quickly, Jaxle unfurls his rope and tosses one end into the pit, then gestures for the others to help him pull the dwarf up.

Dropping his spear, Malavar rushes forward and grabs the rope, preparing to haul Drezden out of the hole.
"Drezden! Say something man! Are you still with us?"

OOC: Unsure that I can even hear regular talking from the distance I fell down the hole.

"Grab the rope, Drezden!" Krah calls out. Drezden looks up and sees the end of a rope dangling just above his head. The skeleton has now fully gotten onto its feet and menacingly approaches, it's fingers spread out like claws, ready to rake at the dwarf.

Drezden reaches for the rope as best and as fast as he can. "Hurry, animated skeleton trying to get me down here!"

Malavar grabs his holy symbol and offers a prayer to Tempus, loudly beseeching him to return the skeleton to its deserved rest.

Edit: Apparently, Tempus really doesn't dig turning undead. Must be more of a hands on sort. Oh well, next round I guess Malavar will be climbing a rope.

Malavar calls upon the might of Tempus, but the power sputters and fails to do anything beyond make his holy symbol flicker a bit with a mild light. The skeleton comes after Drezden, clawing at him just as Krah and Jaxle work together to pull the dwarf up. The claw misses, and the ranger is raised to safety.
Drezden looks pretty beat up, but otherwise intact.
