Ironwood moves forward slightly to place himself between the raiders and their group of civilians who he was hoping were headed towards the keep now that their foes were trapped. Keeping his staff pointed at the entangling spell to focus and sustain its efforts, he raises his severed arm instead. A ghostly green flickering outline of his missing arm and hand appears and an orb of green flame swirls in its ethereal palm. Caelin circles around to the south side of the vine patch, and calling out a taunt, hurls a dagger at the man in black. However, the dagger gets tangled up in the vines and consequently never reaches its target. Eliana is able to grasp the robed figure with her spectral hand, though, and injures him severely. The pain seems to strengthen his resolve, as he is then able to break free of the vines entirely. Seeing this happen, the villagers waste no further time and make a quick beeline into the keep itself. The commoners with the party, however, remain where they are; afraid to make for the keep gates with one of the enemy now free. Zakkoth and Brina both move forward, flinging spells at the baaz, but to no avail. Iro joins then and has better luck, striking him with a ball of green flame. It hurts, but does not put him down. Although on his last legs, he remains standing and ready to fight. Shortly thereafter, one of the kobolds manages to break free, as well, and joins him at his side. Perceval, dropping his pack and handing off Brina's crossbow as he passes her, moves in close and throws a javelin at one of the kobolds still entwined. The grizzled Kagonesti turns to shout at the remaining civilians who had been rooted to the spot by fear as surely as the dragonwrought by his vines. For your lives, to the keep sparklives! he yells, spinning back with a growl to the raiders, summoning another green flamed with his ethereal limb and flinging it at the nearest foe. As he throws the flame, he begins circling clockwise, keeping his distance but continuing to screen the civilians from the raiders and the dark-robed baaz. Persuasion as a Free/Bonus Action to convince the villagers to keep moving. gzFnvBk11d20 Standard Action to hurl a Produce Flame at nearest foe. 1d20+5 for 1d8 Fire damage Move Action to continue moving down and to the right, screening the civvies from the raiders.

Garald hangs back this time. His companions seem perfectly capable of handling this, and he has an unconscious child to worry about. He readies his power, though. Anything that breaks through will have to eat some alien energy before it gets close to his charge.

Eliana feels herself getting a little tired from the random shooting pain she feels throughout her body, and the casting of spells. She has only ever casts spells in a more controlled environment, so this was a completely new experience for her. Despite being a little tired, she doesn't let that stop her from casting once again even though she knows that later one (providing that she survives) she is going to find new patches of scales on her body. It is the same spell as before, the spectral hand appears once more near the hooded figure which she directs to grab him/her. {Combat}zjd6viys1d20+6 2d8 1d20+6·1d8

Zakkoth walk forward with a quicker pace, his claw still queezing his holy symbol. His blue robes sway as he walk "Are you a fool, brother? You don't know what you are playing at, heretic!" He call in draconic as he send at him another flame sacred by his own heart. ---- Moving 20 feet toward the dark robed draconian. Casting sacred flame.

"Come then, despoilers!" Conard all but sneers at the patrol, slowing his charge to advance cautiously, shield raised and sword poised. "Test you mettle! You will find us hardier foes than your present quarry!" Glancing at the lesser opponents still entangled by Iro's spell Conard focuses on those who have fought free of the roots and vines. The young squire flicks his sword in a quick salute as he squares off before lunging, point forward, shield covering. {Actions}Close to melee with any unentangled foe, preferably with Conard between said foe and the gates. I'm kinda assuming that the Baaz will have been dropped by the time Conard's turn comes up, so probably a kobold.
I know I don't have a mechanic for it, but, as Conard is more defensive than Percival, he will try to draw attention away from his wounded and unarmored ally. If there are no unentangled foes left, Conard will not engage, instead taking the dodge action, still trying to draw fire.

Seeing the attacks of his allies land, Perceval wades into melee and cleans up whoever is left standing. {Mechanics}Move to nearest enemy and attack with greatsword. Prioritize enemies where he has advantage if possible as long as that doesn't provoke OAs.

Caelin slays another entangled kobold with a flick of his wrist, sending the dagger into his throat. Eliana then eliminates the recently freed baaz, turning the creature into stone. The remaining villagers move south, but stop short when they see one of the kobolds is still free. Zakkoth hurls some sacred flame at the free kobold, but she easily evades it. Brina shouts for the kobold to behave and stand up straight, which seems to stun her long enough for Conard to swoop in and cut her down with his blade. This leaves one remaining kobold, still struggling against the vines. Iro hurls some fire at him, burning him badly. Perceval then moves in and finishes him off with Latona. With the enemy all dead, the way is now clear. But those paying attention will notice a new problem. To the east, more kobolds and bandits are on the way; a score or more of them, at least a minute away. It seems the invading forces have finally noticed the keep, and are moving towards it. From inside the gate, a guard shouts, "Hurry, now! "Everyone! Run!" Eliana cries out as she starts running for the keep along with everyone else. Taking on that force was going to be a problem, so they needed the safety of the keep.
