Ooc: Kalana is a little powerhouse when she hits.
IC: Kalana simply pulls out another one of her swords, and continues her assault on the zombies around her. She focuses on the one that was attacking her from behind.

Brax squeezes in between Senllip and the wall. There's not a lot of room to swing a weapon, but luckily he's using daggers, which involve a more straightforward stabbing motion. He strikes the zombie there twice, taking it out. Auli'i swings her club at another zombie, but it knocks the weapon from her hand, then strikes her hard across the chin, leaving her mouth bloodied. Bayla swings her electric claws at a zombie again, but misses. The zombie retaliates, nearly knocking her off her feet it hits her so hard. Kalana, a whirling dervish of steel and death, takes out the last two zombies surrounding her. The spell on her fades, and she can once again smell the awful decay and rot, but it's no longer overwhelming. Senllip throws the second holy water at the zombie in front of him. It hits and breaks against its head, splashing holy water all over it. The water eats away at the rotting flesh as if it were acid, and the zombie loses most of its jaw in the process. Brax and Kalana rush to aid Senllip, although the two zombies he is facing are on their last legs. Brax easily kills one and Kalana the other, without any effort on their parts. Meanwhile, Bayla and Auli'i are rather overwhelmed. Auli'i manages to heal Bayla up, but the aarakocra gets hit again so hard she nearly collapses. "Why are you all ignoring me again?!" she pleads as she swings and misses again at her opponent. Her lightning spell fizzles out, having gone too long without being discharged. Senllip, now with no targets left, draws his masterwork sabre and moves to help the casters. "I'm not ignoring you!" Kalana calls out as she rushes to the casters aid. "Take cover behind the gate, both of you," she says to both Bayla and Auli'i as she moves in to take the spot of Bayla so she can escape, and Kalana continues her assault on the zombies (23 first and 24 if 23 is taken care of).

Brax moves in to aid Bayla, stabbing the zombie that the dust devil softened up and taking it out. Auli'i heals Bayla, and the two withdraw to the north. On the one hand, they are relatively safe now. On the other hand, the party's only healer is some distance away. Kalana destroys two more zombies, and another one comes up to harass her. Senllip throws the final holy water vial at the oncoming swarm, damaging all four of them with the splash. Brax, however, takes several hits and is now left in pretty bad shape and with the healer some distance away.
