CH. 08 - Once More With Feeling

[HorizonsDream]

Kalana is put of breath by the time all the zombies are dead. She takes a moment to clean up her swords, and goes to pick up her dropped sword. "That was...intense."

[Daos]

"Everyone in one piece?" Auli'i asks, as she and Bayla cautiously approach the group.

[Bishgada]

"Good work everyone! Bayla, nice electricity thing you got there! Aui'li, you really kept us going with your Gods blessings." Senllip thanks and praises the team work. "Anyone saw where the zombie leader came from? Is it one of the mausoleums? I think we should search the surface of the graveyard, but maybe before diving in to possible catacombs we need to regain our forces." while speaking he picks up the fallen sabre he lost in battle.

[Daos]

"But...I didn't actually hit anything with it," Bayla says.  She looks over the halfling skeptically, as if trying to determine whether he's making fun of her or not.

[HorizonsDream]

"Most of you are pretty badly hurt," Kalana says. "So I'll check out where the leader came from, so the rest of you just rest up. I don't think we are going to find anything though since the leader is dead." she admits. Though, she heads to the mausoleum where the zombie leader came from.

[Daos]

Inside the mausoleum it is cool and dry, and filled with a terrible smell.  All of the spots for the bodies are empty, the entire place cleaned out of corpses.

Kalana covers her noses, and takes a look around the area to see if she can find anything other than empty places for bodies.

[Daos]

There are a few trinkets; personal possessions or items left by the grieving, but nothing of particular note or value.  Certainly nothing compared to the extravagance that the zombie lord was wearing.

Brax "Nonsense Bayla you helped hold back that second or third horde of deadies. Your little dust devil thing was a help otherwise we would likely have been overrun." 

[HorizonsDream]

Kalana moves out of the mausoleum, and heads over to the dead zombie lord to look her over. "He is right, you know," she says to Bayla. "While the lightning might not have worked out, your dust devil thing helped a lot."

[Daos]

The zombie lord itself has a number of valuables on it.  These include a crown, a pendant, two rings (one on each hand), two belt pouches (one containing some smooth, white sling bullets and the other 15 gemstones), and a haversack containing two potions and 450 platinum pieces.

Kalana collects the valuables off the zombie lord, and then joins the party. "One of these pouches has some sling bullets in them," she says. "Senllip, do you want them?" she asks. "Otherwise, the rest of this stuff I can sell, and it can go to the ship pool. We can collect the money for this job as well."

Brax "So long as we're sure this jobs is done. I hope it is."

[HorizonsDream]

"I don't see anymore zombies heading towards us, so I think that counts as done," Kalana says with a small shrug. "And it is really starting to smell," she adds. With that said, she leads the party back to the makeshift inn.

OOC: Okay, so she is going to seek payment from the person that had the job. Then she is going to sell the valuables that she found. She is going to give the sling bullets to Senllip. She is going to sell one of her master work swords.

Brax nods and if not done fixing his pistols will finish his work when either back at the ship or the 'tavern'. "Alright then good job everyone."
