"The problem with using it on the Slaadi is that in contradicts with taking them one by one, since I'm not Kallian can silence each one of them. If you silence an area that we stay in and lure the Slaadi into it, then we are safe from the croaks and Brax can shoot silently as well. Such area that the Slaadi need to step into and only then see us." Senllip says but then something else occurs to him, "You know what? If W E can't hear them it doesn't matter if they croak all day, so it might be smarter to silence Brax weapon if the silence will move with us and keep us protected. And it will enable Brax to shoot silently." He waits for agreement. "About sneaking from the kitchen, I guess they won't leave it unguarded again. I'd even assume they put two guards at each of the entrances. We need to scout a little. Maybe they even didn't block the windows again and just leave the room empty."
============================================= (ooc: @daos, can you please post the maps again? Since as characters we remember the place we can plan a route or locations best for silence if it is on area, and ambush. If we cast the silence on Brax and it moves with us we might split to two groups. Silent group and casters group that keeps some distance at the back and also watch our backs.)

"Scouting out the area again is a good idea. It will help us come up with a more solid plan on how to get in," Kalana says. "Though, I'm not sure about silencing Brax's gun, as that might affect our spell casters."

Brax "Well I'm wondering if I leave my pistols let someone cast silence on them how far away do I need to be for it to not affect the spell casters?"

"Yeah, that's why I suggested we split to silent attackers and rearguard casters." Senllip says deductively and slowly. He then describe the first floor of the Inn. Where they entered, what other rooms are there and where are the windows. "They might be watching the street for possible attacks with all the groups of adventurers trying to clean the city."

"So, who's casting Silence? You got another caster, or am I gonna have to swap out a spell?" Kallian grumbles.

Kalana looks to Kallian, and then motions to Bayla and Auli'i. "That is Bayla and Auli'i," she says dryly, as she knows she mentioned them earlier. "They are spell casters, so maybe you guys can decide which spells to work on?"

Kalana and Senllip lead Brax and Kallian below decks, where the others are still waiting to finish the meeting. They are two women. The one Kalana points out as Bayla is a seagull aarakocra with white feathers on her head and torso, and grey feathers on her arms and wings. Her beak is yellow, except for the tip, which is red. She is of a fairly small and petite build. She wears a dirty toga and a satchel over her shoulder to carry her things. "Hello, nice to meet you both!" she says cheerfully, happy to see some new people.
The other one, Auli'i, is a human. She is slender with an hour glass figure. She has shoulder length, wavy black hair with a yellow flower in it. Her eyes are brown, as is her skin. She wears the blue vestments of a pastor of Octhanus. "Who are these people, captain?" she asks, eying Kallian with suspicion.

Kallian brandishes her holy symbol of Renos at Auli'i. "Someone who already doesn't like you."

Senllip waits for the introductions and let Kalana answer who are the new people. Once it is all settled and they are back to planning the rescue of the captives he describe the place and says, "It seems difficult to find a "kill zone" to take the Slaadi one by one without the others seeing us and the spell casters to have long distance behind the rest. The only way I think it can work is if we happen to see a Slaadi in the second room to the north following the west wall but there is small chance it will happen. What is the silence distance anyway?"
===================================== (OOC: each cube is 1 feet or 1 meter? I can think of two strategies: 1. fighters coming from the north west, luring the Slaadi and backing off to the small room so the caster have line of sight while keeping distance. 2. Fighter (silenced one) comes from the North west room (the white room that we didn't explore), lure ALL the Slaadi as distraction, then the others are coming from the east route and attacking the Slaadi from behind. Since the fighter will be silenced the Slaadi won't hear us coming and won't be able to call for help or stun.
BTW, Silence may help Senllip with backstab.
If you think otherwise please bring more suggestions up.
Maybe we can also try to lure them after someone to a room and then lock it on them and burn it or something like that. There are few rooms with two entrances that can serve for that purpose.
Thanks. )

Brax bows his head to Bayla and Auli'i in greeting. "Pleased to meet you Bayla and Aulii...eh Auliee...Auli...eh sorry..." he mispronounces Auli'i unsure of how to properly say the name.

Kallian brandishes her holy symbol of Renos at Auli'i. "Someone who already doesn't like you." "I get the feeling you don't like anyone," Auli'i says. "Probably not even yourself." "What is the silence distance anyway?" "About fifteen feet," Auli'i answers. Brax bows his head to Bayla and Auli'i in greeting. "Pleased to meet you Bayla and Aulii...eh Auliee...Auli...eh sorry..." he mispronounces Auli'i unsure of how to properly say the name. The cleric enunciates her name for him. "It's Ow-lee-ee." "Yes, clearly, I'm the one being rude here," Aul'li retorts. Looking to Kalana, she says, "Is there some stipulation of having a Renosian for every job? Just when the last one left..."
She then says to Brax, "I take no offense, Mister Dwarf." As Kalana introduced Auli'i and Bayla, but failed to introduce Brax and Kallian, so she has no idea what either of their names are.

Kalana motions to each person in turn, and introduces them. "No, there are no stipulations about having a Renosian for every job, but for this one she'll be useful," she says to Aul'li. "We have been discussing on how to use the silence spell," she explains. "It has been suggested that we place the spell on Brax's guns, but I'm afraid that is going to silence our spell casters too rather than silencing the slaadi. We are also trying to figure out a way to lure the slaadi so that we don't have so many to deal with at once, but I don't see them wanting to leave their young."
