"Well, the radius is only fifteen feet.  As long as the casters are outside that radius, we can cast just fine.  It would, however, prevent me from healing Mister Brax, though," Auli'i says.

"I'm a Storm Sorcerer," Bayla offers.  "Studied at the academy and everything."

"I'm a cleric of Octhanus, trained by the Mercies of the Divine Trinity Church," Auli'i answers.

"So... which method do you prefer? All fighters in front, caster behind? Or, one of us distracting the Slaadi, I don't mind to that by the way, and the rest of the group come from behind?" Senllip asks feeling uncomfortable at the exchange of words between Auli'i and Kallian, and trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, let's throw you to the frogs. Should turn out all right," Kallian says.

"The fighters should stick together," Kalana says. She went off on her own, and while she did fine, the others didn't do so great, so she knows that she is going to be needed.

"If you need a distraction, I can conjure a dust devil," Bayla offers.  "But only once a day.  It's very draining."

"How long does it last?" Kalana asks.

[Daos]

"Until it's destroyed, or I dispel it...or if it moves beyond 30 yards from me," Bayla answers.

"Then that could work," Kalana says. "It could possibly work as a sort of crowd control as we take down one at a time."

"Crowd control or distraction?" Senllip asks confused. "If Bayla sends it to the eastern spot, then we can come from the main hall behind their backs and have the advantage of surprise and softening them with ranged attacks. On the other hand if it is crowd control it means it keeps them busy but they all are aware of us. I assume they will quickly dust off this devil and come for us, no? The most important thing is the silence to avoid their stuns as well as calling for backup from upstairs." With that mentioned Senllip adds, "Good idea Bayla using the dust devil as distraction. We should also continue with the plan what to do if things goes badly as well as how to handle the second floor if things going well. I mean have a plan for route of escape, and if we win, I guess it will be best to lure them on the stairs and shoot them off so they can't all attack us together."

(OOC: I don't think dust devil will last more than a round under heavy attack of more than two Slaadi.

Brax patting his pistols says "Now I'm a ranged fighter not a melee one. Me in the front gives me a clear shot but I won't be rushing head long into battle unless I have to."

"The second floor should be easy honestly," Kalana says. "If we go room by room, and they don't hear us downstairs. We just need to pick the locks. It is the downstairs that we really need to worry about."

"If that is the case," Auli'i says, "maybe we should bypass the first floor entirely?"

"I'm not sure how that will be possible," Kalana admits. "The windows are boarded up."
