You know what, since this is a low level game I'll go with Chislev. If this character sticks around and the need arises in the future, maybe we can talk about implementing some non-metal high level armor? So I confirm that her divinity will be Chislev. For the spells I found this website that seems pretty simple to browse: Spells.Sure. And worth noting, while 2E is generally a low-magic game (much like 5E), for some reason the modules tended to hand out magical items like candy. If this party can get through say, 2 or 3 of them, they'll probably all have at least one suit of magical armor of some kind. And that website is handy. I wish it let you filter out certain sourcebooks, though. It includes spells from books I don't use. It also seems to lack a few books I do use. But it does make things easier. Here is the character's sheet (still work in progress): Kaelestia, the Irda - There are some stuff I don't how to calculate, like surprised AC or rear AC, speed, etc. Or if you have any advice of any equipment I should buy with what's left of my starting founds. Also, I wanted to ask you. Do Irda have Darkvision? There is nothing written on the Tales of the Lance manual you sent me, but I checked on Tasslehoff Pouches of Everything and there Irda are listed as a race with Darkvision. Surprised AC is your AC without your DEX bonus. As you don't have a DEX bonus, it would therefore be the same as your normal AC. Rear AC is your AC without a shield. If you have a shield, it will be one point higher. If you don't have a shield, it will be the same as your normal AC. As far as advice for equipment, probably some rations, a waterskin and a bedroll (or winter blanket). As far as Infravision (which is what we called Darkvision back in 2E), it's not clear. Tales of the Lance doesn't mention it either way. I looked up their 2E MM entry, and likewise it didn't say. Curious, I checked out the MM entry of regular ogres, and they don't seem to have infravision, either. I went back to the 1E sources, and came back with the same result. It's not until I jumped ahead to 3E that I found they had low-light vision. And apparently graduated to darkvision by 5E. No explanation is given for the sudden upgrade. Sadly, the official Dragonlance forums shut down a few days ago, due to lack of interest, so I can't even ask there like I usually would. So my ruling is going to be...no, they don't have infravision, for the following reasons: 01. No 2E source, including errata, mentions them having infravision. 02. Normal 2E ogres also do not have it; if they did, it would suggest Irda would, as well, as they are related. 03. I'm not sure why they would. Irda do not live underground like dwarves or goblins. Likewise, nothing in any material I've read suggests they have superior vision like elves do. Yeah, maybe he could be an older brother, much more reserved and study-focused (so no aptitude for combat, maybe just a passion for sailing), who got entangled in his sister's quest for freedom and is just waiting for the right moment to bring her back home. That works. Presumably both of you are disguised as the same race. Daos what do you mean leaning towards the dark side I didn't specify my barbarian's alignment but it is actually was going to be NG, but if the party is shaping up to be "less than good" I suppose CN it might have to be. I'm not trying to dictate anyone's alignment, I was just looking at the characters being submitted so far and am making assumptions based on that. What we know, though, is that Tristen's character and Matt's characters will be TN and that Igordragonian's character is going to join the Order of the Black Robes, which indicates she will be Evil. Not everyone has submitted an alignment yet, but so far, they've all been either Neutral or Evil of the ones who have.

I think as long as he's neutral with respect to the law and the other characters aren't blatantly chaotic or only evil within the confinement of Law, we might be able to make a NG char work. Hells, not everyone gets along with everyone else in most groups; sometimes there are people who act as buffers. Could be a really fun role play experience provided every player is cooperative

Well I certainly do not wish to play TN the alignment alone is "a bit much" IMO. So honestly, I'd say CN it is for me. NG can get along just fine with TN, but any Evil if he figures it out would probably not go over well.

It is possible for a party of mixed alignment to work. In my Octhania game, for awhile, we had a party consist of a Good character, a Lawful character, a Chaotic character and an Evil character, and they worked fairly well together, for the most part. Disagreements are bound to crop up, but as long as nobody starts going too far, it can work out.

Yeah no PVP please. If I wanted that I would have requested a gladiators game.

Granker Thunderhorn was born to Helmord Thunderhorn, a captain in the minotaur fleet, and Lanoerth Thunderhorn whom would eventually become a priestess of Sargas. Granker was taught seamanship by his father and his mother taught him the ways of honor and strength. When Granker was about 16 he left home to find his own lot in life. Unfortunately, young Granker raked up several debits over the next year and with no way to pay them off he was sentenced to spend time in the Arena acting as a champion in legal disputes. He spent the next 7 years duing time in the Arena but eventually he was released and allowed to find life outside of the Arena. For the last year Granker has earned a living as a deckhand on a small merchant ship.
Granker stands 7 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 315 lbs. he has cooper-colored eyes and bright red fur with black tips. His horns are an eggshell color with faintly black tips. He is short tempered. Granker worships Sargas and values honor and strength. He is honorable but also links honor to strength and brutality.

Okay, so you guys just went in the complete opposite direction that I thought you would. I was going to hide the true class of my character since I thought all you guys would play good characters. Anyway, I am actually playing a cleric of Sargonnas, which basically means she is a fighter with some priest like spells.

Yeah, she asked me not to say anything, so I didn't, but that's another reason I was thinking the party was leading toward the dark side. On the bright side, a priest of Sargonnas is a great tie-in with a party with two minotaurs in it.

Hahahah, this game is shaping up to be a hell of a ride.
Greywolf, if you still want to play NG, Sha'al can be the foil/ party buffer. He didn't grow up evil or taking advantage of others, just trying to get a fair Shake and cynical as hell by now. And he's a strong advocate for sticking with your crew and doing what you need to to see a job through. He's not exactly a peacemaker, but he could certainly divert and discuss issues as they arise on both sides. All that said, the few evil characters we have are lawful and I've always kind of considered lawful evil characters as being the type to conceal their moral compass, so if the other PCS are played that way I think it might even be quite some time before the... severity of their true nature comes out. But just offering that as an option, if you're still inclined to NG

Yeah, both Sha'alzek and Kaelestia are TN, so that should help balance things out a bit. If the three Evil PCs start to get out of control, the TN ones will likely side with a Good one to 'restore balance' anyway. So that means he wouldn't be outvoted every time the party has a moral choice to deal with.
So let's do a quick recap of what is still needed:
Tristen's, Horizon's and Dallion's characters are completely done.
Greywolf's character needs: Alignment, Deity of choice, age, height, weight, WP, NWP, languages, equipment, appearance, personality, history
Igordragonian's character needs: Alignment, Deity of choice (Nuitari, I assume?), ability score arrangements, age, height, weight, kit (?), WP, NWP, languages, equipment, appearance, personality, and history
Matt4's character needs age, appearance, personality and history.

Yes, I was thinking that Kaelestia will have mastered two forms: a Silvanesti woman and a human man (can they change gender when they shapeshift? Otherwise I will change it to a human woman as well). The Silvanesti one being her "main" form and the one she presents as to the party. This prompt me another question related to Infravision though: if Irda shapeshift to a race that have Infravision, do they gain it?

I kind of like the idea of there being a canonical non-binary race in Dragonlance. As for infravision, I did some digging around. The description suggests they are actually changing form, so it's not just an illusion. So I used the Polymorph spell as a point of reference, since it was the closest mechanic I could think of. The spell description reads, "Thus a wizard changed into an owl could fly, but his vision would be human." So this leads me to believe that racial abilities wouldn't transfer over.

Sigh, I guess that's fair. I hoped it would be like Wild Shape where you also get the senses of the creature you shape into. It's weird because the spell Polymorph Other seems to work like this as well, not sure why Polymorph Self is different. Oh well, I'll buy some candles and a tinderbox as well.
