That's fair, I thought the pack saddle was the harness to which the saddle bags are attached, but that makes sense.

That's how the 2E book explained it, anyway--that the pack saddle was for holding gear and the saddle bags were for storing stuff on a riding saddle.
But I'll admit I know nothing about horses or mules and never ridden/saddled one before, so I might be wrong.

If you're dead set on it, sure, but Dietrch is trained in Animal Handling. Might be important to keep our equipment from running off, though the difference between +1 and +3 is negligible considering I usually roll like crap!

Alright, I went ahead and removed 2.5 stl from each of you and added a mule. I'll leave it to you all to decide what to name her. Also, let me know what gear you want to store on her.

You can handle the mule if you like. I just thought it better to put it in the hands of someone who isn't a front-liner.
I'll store my chest, which holds my Perfume, Fine Clothes, Lamp and oil, paper and ink/pen, sealing wax, and soap.. I will store my Drum, also.

Didn't have a chance to post yesterday, but Rof will happily chip in for the mule. I think most of my excess weight is rations and rope.

I'd like store any and all equipment, so I can be relatively unencumbered when in armor with weapons. So smithing tools, rations, explorer's kit, iron pot, shovel, etc.
