CH. 10 - Chasing the Lleiset

"You guys do realize we are in Serenity, right?" Kalana asks. "Getting everything you want, here, might not be possible," she points out.

[Bishgada]

"Sure. But we should be prepared for the battle on Shadowshore, and need to take this into account. Let's just make sure that we stop in the right places to fill our ranks properly."

[GreyWolfVT]

Brax merely shrugs "I ain't been ere before Admiral so sorry I didna really know what we could get ere."

[HorizonsDream]

"We will be prepared by the time we get to Shadowshore," Kalana says to Senllip. She heads leads the group to the where Saren suggested to find people that would be willing to work on a ship.

[Daos]

Kalana leads the way to the Hearthglow Inn, which is where the party stayed last time they were here, so it is well remembered by Kalana and Senllip, at least.  It's a humble, sort of homey place, mostly for adventuring types and travelers passing through town.  Currently, it's the lunch rush, so the common room is quite packed with patrons.

[HorizonsDream]

Kalana wasn't exactly sure how to approach all of these people, so she decides to go to the barkeep. "So, we are looking to hire some healers for our ships," she says. "Mages and fighters too if possible. Any recommendations?"

[Daos]

"I can put out the word for you, see who bites," says the innkeeper, a fairly plain looking woman with a Swadian accent.  "What criteria are you looking for?  And what's the job?  Is it particularly dangerous?"

[HorizonsDream]

"We need, at least, two healers," Kalana says. "And I would say that the job is pretty dangerous since we are taking on a fleet of Gunn ships. We need as much firepower as possible, so mages would be extremely helpful, and as many capable fighters as possible."

[Daos]

"Oh!  So a suicide mission," the innkeeper observes.  "Well, I'll see what I can find, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too high."

(OOC:  Go ahead and post in the OOC thread what exactly you're looking for, in terms of class, skill set, or any other criteria.  I'll say you'll only be able to find two people, one for Brax and one for Senllip, as a new henchman.)

"Ah, before that though, where would be the best place to upgrade a ship?" Kalana asks. "Cannons, guns, all of that?"

[Daos]

"The harbor would be the place for that sort of thing," the innkeeper suggests.

[HorizonsDream]

"Alright, then I will leave these two here to meet whoever comes forward," Kalana says, motioning to Brax and Senllip. She looks to the two captains. "And I'll head to the harbor to see what I can do about upgrades." With that said, she takes her leave to go to the harbor.

[Bishgada]

"Bye Kalana." Senllip waves. "I'm Senllip, and I'm sure hungry and thirsty. Please give me and my friend Brax here a glass of your finest Rhum and a tankard of ale if you please. And of course pour one for ya." After they get their drinks cheers fir their luck health and adventures Senllip adds, "You know, it's not a suicide mission. It's a calling. We help those who are in need. We fight slavery and other tyrants that take advantage of the weak. We banish away monsters terrorizing people and children and we subdued evil dragons." Senllip shows the trophy he took from the dragon his team defeated. "By the way evils and that kind, I'm trying to track two interesting... hmmm... peoples let's say. One is the Son of Crizza and the other is a capable thief named..."

(OOC: If Saren is with us, Senllip wilol by him a drink as well. One should keep his promises. And I forgot tyhe name of the thief Athel and Senllip tried to capture together and I don't find my goals in the OOC thread. Where are they kept? Anyhow, Senllip will ofcourse use the correct name.

Kalana
Kalana heads back down to the docks and speaks with the harbormaster there on what sort of upgrades and repairs she wants to make.  He is happy to answer any questions she has.

Senllip and Brax
The barkeeper brings them their drinks, and says, "I've heard of them.  The Son of Crizza is that man who attacked Mond and Tu'Valie, right?  And Senrik is said to be a thief that has been active in Tu'Valie.  But that's all I know about them."

(OOC:  No, Saren is preparing his ship to sail for Tu'Valie.  Your goals are in the OOC thread, but they are under a whisper command, so the search function might not work.  Here's the last time they were posted, though.)

Brax merely sighs at the drink ordered and mutters to himself about decent dwarven brew. "Eh yeah thanks Sen. But I've had me fill o rum. Got anythin else barkeep?"
