Miranda goes over the spell with Lillian, but the complexities are just too much for her. Perhaps she needs a bit more experience to try such a spell.

Edgar hesitates before answering. "I...I wanted to make a difference. To ensure that things play out the way they are supposed to, to ensure a better future for those that come after us. And yes, your brother will be will cared for with us. He will be fed, clothed and educated. And one day, he will be able to help in protecting Gonto's Plan and seeing it brought to fruition."

"Always a classic," Miranda agrees. The two sit down and go over the spell, and this time Lillian has more success. She finds she is able to cast the spell by the end.

This is a far more advanced spell, and at first it seems Lillian is grasping it well, but toward the end she falters and gets lost and fails to learn it, as a result.
