CH. 17 - Spring Fling

"Honestly, I have forgotten his name," Ladonna says. "There was an artist, Filkins I think his name was that might work out for her," she says. "And then the weaponsmaster," she says. "I think his name starts with a Y."

"Not sure I've heard of this Filkins person," Zesk admits.  "But a weaponsmaster whose name starts with 'Y'?  You must be referring to Yarl Fritog then."

[HorizonsDream]

"Yeah, that is the name," Ladonna says. "But there is someone else. He isn't the best looking man," she says. "I got the feeling that he wasn't really in the courts very often either."

[Daos]

Zesk thinks a moment then says, "Perchance are you referring to Ser Tiral Greymane, the verdener?"

Lillian frowns at Unakite’s comment. “That seems like an insult, Unakite,” she says.

[Daos]

"Is it?" Unakite asks, doing a cartwheel on the table.  "Well, I'm quite mad, so what do I know?"  As if to highlight this, she then starts cackling madly.  The two guards share a nervous look.

"Well, I won't take it too seriously, then," Lillian says. "Thank you for speaking with me," she says, bidding goodbye to Unakite.

[HorizonsDream]

Ladonna snaps her fingers and points to Zesk. "That's him," she says. "I introduced the two of them at the ball, but I guess things didn't go well," she says. "He seemed nice enough, if not a little awkward."

The three continue drinking until the bottle is empty.  Edgar excuses himself to retire for the night, and Zesk walks Ladonna to her room, more out of politeness than anything else, as she has two guards for protection still.

Lillian
After Lillian departs from the trophy room, she realizes how late it has grown.  Most people have started to turn in for the night, so she returns to her own room.  The guards stand outside her door, just in case.
