"Really?" Lillian asks curiously. "How would I be able to help you?"

Voltera fills Lillian in on her plan to try and restore the timeline by splitting up Stenn and Amanda, and then getting Amanda back with Jonas.

Lillian listens intently. "And how do I come in?" she asks.

"Maybe you could find something out about Stenn?" Ladonna suggests. "My mother, in this timeline, is big on respecting herself, so if you find something on Stenn that suggests that he is less than faithful to my mother, then that might be enough to get Amanda to leave him."

"Or if nothing else, try to persuade him to divorce Amanda. Perhaps find him a younger wife to replace her? I don't know," Voltera offers.

"I'm not sure I understand why I should. How does it benefit me to do this?" Lillian asks. "It's not my family on the line."

"This isn't about one family, it's about preserving Gonto's Plan," Voltera answers. "The sacred timeline has been altered, and it's the responsibility of us all to make sure this new one adheres to the old one as much as possible."

Lillian pauses for a moment to think, then nods. "Yes...I think I understand. I'll go and speak to Stenn immediately." She gestures to Ladonna, adding, "Would you care to come with me?"

"You mentioned a while back about wanting to be more on the same page," Ladonna says to Lillian. "This would be a big step in achieving that goal," she points out. "You are going to have to be a little subtle with Stenn if you are going to do this. I don't think I'll be able to do it because he just watched me have an argument with my mother," she explains. "If I remember correctly, Stenn is a little paranoid about people trying to use him for his money," she explains. "And he likes women that are young and...I think the exact word he used was pliable. He certainly wasn't against the idea of having fun with unattached young women, especially if they don't have any family to speak of. It is quite possible, during his time with my mother, he has cheated mulitple times. As for me going with you, I would, but I need to find my father first. Seeing my mother for the first time in a long time had to be a shock."

Lillian listens to Ladonna's description. She's quite surprised Ser Marche actually wants to go through with Sern's plan, considering how invasive it was. But it was her family, not Lillian's--and besides, from what she said, Lillian isn't going to feel much regret at ruining Stenn's happiness. "All right. I'll go speak to him...seduce him, or something. Good luck with your father." Lillian then leaves to find Stenn.

"Alright then," Voltera says after Lillian leaves. She digs around in her satchel, then removes a potion and hands it to Ladonna. "Get your parents in the same room together, and then have both of them drink this. Slip it into their drinks, if necessary. It should help if they prove too resistant to the idea of getting back together."
Lillian, meanwhile, heads for the guesting house. Relken has escorted the Syndrig family to one of the nicer guest rooms inside. Currently, the family is getting settled in. Stenn is by the window, looking down at the garden. Amanda sits on one of the beds, watching Felix play around. Relken stands near the door, having polite conversation with Blythe.

Lillian decides to introduce herself. "Excuse me, I hope I'm not intruding," she says, keeping an eye on everyone's reactions. "I'm Lillian, one of Ladonna's friends."

"Oh?" Amanda asks, standing up. "How nice to meet you then. I'm Amanda, Ladonna's mother. How can I help you?" she asks.
The two children pause and look at Lillian with a mix of wonder and wariness. She gets the impression that perhaps neither has seen an elf up close before.
Stenn glances over his shoulder at Lillian, then turns back to the window, apparently uninterested.

Ladonna let's out a sigh as she takes the potions from the Sadduce. "I still don't know why we just couldn't stick to the way things were going," she says. She was reluctantly agreeing to this whole mess though. "I'll do what I can," she finally says before bidding Farwell.
She tries to track down her father, going to his room first, and if that doesn't woek, looking for a place where he would probably be drinking. She could understand wanting to drink after this whole mess.

"I simply wanted to meet you," Lillian says, giving Amanda a short bow. "Ladonna doesn't talk about her family much."
