Sure, go ahead. What were you thinking? Personally, I'm loving Kaelestia. Mechanically I think she's fine, especially now that I have Krenari, she scratches (heh) my itch of not really contributing much in terms of dealing damage. There is one house-rule I wanted to ask for, but anxiety got in the way and I never spoke up in the end. For Kaelestia, I was wondering if it's worthwhile to just change the Priest of Chislev class to the Druid class. The two are almost identical (same ability requirements, alignment restrictions, weapon and armor restrictions), but the differences is that the Priest of Chislev class has a few extra spell spheres (Charm, Combat, Guardian and Sun) while the Druid has a lot of extra class features (+2 saves against fire/lightning, identify plants/animals/pure water, pass through underbrush without trail or speed reduction, a bunch of extra languages, charm immunity, and shapechanging. So it boils down to whether you think the extra spells are more valuable or all of the class features. I love the features, especially the shapechanging..that I would really love to have..but removing those spheres would remove 50% of the spells I've prepared right now lol ;_; so yeah, I think I'll skip

I'm good with keeping things basically as they are for Sha'al, but maybe swapping the +1bows and swords for the trident/spears/net combo if that works for you Alright. I'll do the weapon swap for Sha'al specifically. Any other changes I make will only impact anyone playing Dimernesti from here on out; Sha'al will remain grandfathered in. I love the features, especially the shapechanging..that I would really love to have..but removing those spheres would remove 50% of the spells I've prepared right now lol ;_; so yeah, I think I'll skip Okay, I'll probably still make changes to the class, but they won't impact Kaelestia, just anyone playing that class from here on out. When I have the time, I'll probably do a full write up of any changes made, so there's an easy place to reference them.

I guess I'll bow out I can't keep up with the game pace so I think I need to just bow out to the faster paced posting players. I felt like I was more of a hinderance than help most of the time due to inactivity or much slower posting rate therefor less actions taken by my character.

If you want to bow out because you're not interested anymore in the game it's your choice of course, and although sorry I can't really stop you. But if you're dropping out because you feel like an hindrance I think you're making a mistake. I don't think anyone thinks of you or Arthogate as such..the only 'problem' was the actions skipped in combat, but we solved that now that the other players can control the inactive PCs (also it also happened once, so even then it wasn't really a common occurance), so you don't have to worry about it.

Very well. The two of you have convinced me to hang in there. So rescind my bowing out.

Alright. I'll start work on the second one then. In the interim, how is everyone feeling about their characters, mechanically speaking? I was working on some potential tweaks to certain races and classes, and wanted to get some feedback first. Anything you were considering for Granker

Okie. So on my part I am just waiting for the next adventure? Hey Igor, while you were away we decided on a new "rule", when someone is missing during a combat their character will be controlled by one of the other players, to make things easier for Daos and avoid lost actions during critical times. Are you okay with that? (It's not obligatory, so if you don't want your character to be controlled by someone is not a problem to say so).

Okie. So on my part I am just waiting for the next adventure? Correct. Anything you were considering for Granker I was considering an idea to tweak the damage for their horns; increasing the damage dealt when a horn attack is made after a charge, specifically. Just out of curiosity, what prompted those changes? O: When we first switched over to the Dragonlance setting for Module Matinee, I just used the Tales of the Lance book straight up, as that was the simplest and easiest thing to do at the time. But having seen some of these races and classes in action now that we're knee deep in it, has helped me see areas that I think could use tweaking. I'm not usually the sort of person who can look at a race or class or kit or whatever on paper and just determine how good they are on that alone. (Main reason why I gave up on trying to follow the new 6E UA stuff; I honestly can't tell what changes are good or bad.) I need to see things in action to get a good idea of how they work (or don't work). I'm a big proponent of the races and classes feeling distinct from each other. (This is another criticism of mine about 5E; everything is so homogeneous, it all feels the same regardless of what you play.) I also just like to tinker. It's one of my favorite parts of DMing. Also, Tales of the Lance is kind of a mess. XD It's hard to describe, but even by 2E standards it's fairly sloppy. The Knight of Solamnia class alone is a nightmare. But, you know, it was the official 2E conversion for the setting, so...it's all we had. But it does give me a chance to make tweaks, so that's fun. =================== Anyway, I'll be starting up the new adventure soon. I can't be too specific as to when, as this week is a little weird for me (some unusual work shift hours), but I'm aiming for the next day or two. In the meantime, if there's any more last minute stuff anyone wants to address, including shopping, let me know.

Thank you for the kind words Matt and the seconding of said words Tristen. I think I was just having a dour moment. I mean I did just go to a funeral yesterday for my uncle that passed away in November last year. Saw some relatives that I hadn't seen in a while some good others not so much. Idk maybe call it a lapse in judgement on my part for mentioning bowing out. I am here. Arthogate is not going to try to get any new pets after what happened with the last one, not exactly sure how that worked out since the dog attacked but we set him free as well. Also I really don't have an opinion one way or the other in what direction we go game wise. I am just here for the adventure/ride.

Thanks Daos for the answer, since you asked for our feedback I wanted to understand which direction you're aiming so if it's needed I could give a more grounded opinion. I'll wait to read about the changes, then. Excited about the new adventure starting soon! A couple of things: -how much time it passes between this adventure and the next one? Kaelestia will continue on training Krenari, only the Guard and Track tricks are left to do (in this order). -I wanted to propose a point of Divine Favour for both Sumina and Granker, for refusing the deal with Myca and getting their vengeance on him after he enslaved them and forced them to work for him.
