After chasing away the coyote she charged at, Chispa gives a quick prayer thanking her god. It must be her divine aura that scared it off. With confidence she turns her attention to the other free coyote.

Seeboe repeats his earlier trick, manipulating one of the vines to lash out at the first coyote, then drag it forward, just five feet ahead of Chispa. However, before it can recover, Ha-Yun likewise does a repeat performance, and the coyote decides to run away, disappearing into the crops with its partner. Now with only one coyote left (the one entangled still), Chispa rushes forward and smacks that one on the snout with her hammer while Vulpi looses an arrow into its thick hide. The coyote snarls and growls, but remains entangled in the vines for now.
Lady Dre and Proclaimer Ward are nearly to the farmer at this point.

Seeboe is going to tell everyone to wait a sec, moving toward the coyote he is going to carefully peel away some of the vines and show the coyote we just want it to go away and also hope that the coyote can at least brokenly interpret small canid {speak with small beasts} but isn't relying only on the speech. If it seems the coyote will acquiesce then Seeboe will drop concentration. Else he will maintain concentration but back up.

Chispa is about to strike again with her hammer, but hearing SeeBoe she abruptly stops. "What?!" she looks around, sweat dripping from her forehead and stings her eye. She looks at SeeBoe and then at Vulpi shrugging her shoulders and readies her hammer in case the coyote will try attacking.

Seeboe steps forward, speaking in the language of small woodland critters. However, coyotes are not small critters, even normal sized ones, much less giant ones. So it doesn't really seem to understand what he is saying. Regardless, once the coyote is free of the vines, it immediately dashes off into the crops to join its packmates, having had enough of this fight.
At around the same point, Lady Dre and Proclaimer Ward reach the old farmer and help him up to his feet.

While the others go to check on the farmer, Vulpi will take a minute to search the field to see if any of the 3 arrows they shot are recoverable, hoping to find at least the arrow that only grazed the wolf.

Vulpi manages to recover the arrow that only grazed, but the other two unfortunately were still in the coyotes when they fled.

With no one watching the wagon, Vulpi is going to let the others know that Vulpi is going to watch the wagon and head in that direction. Vulpi will also use mold earth to fill back in the hole they dug earlier. They are careful to feel for tremors while they watch.

While Vulpi returns to the wagon, Chispa and Ha-Yun approach the farmer just as Lady Dre and Proclaimer Ward are helping him to his feet. He is a bit roughed up, but does not appear to sport any serious wounds. "Dang blasted mutts!" he curses to himself as he dusts himself off. "Always causing trouble!"
Turning to the group, he wipes his hand off his overalls and offers it. "Thanks for the assist, strangers. Y'all can call me Uncle Polder--everyone does." Polder is an old man with a stocky build and an easy smile. He walks at an amble and speaks with a drawl. "Why don't y'all come on over to my farmhouse for a spell. You can water your horses and refresh yourselves. Least I can offer after saving my life."
