Chispa closes the distance and joins the attack, taking position to defend Kianna and Ha-Yun as best as she can. "Culley, we are sorry you perished. You do sound like a lovely child, but your soul must continue it's journey instead of being stuck in this abomination." Holding her specially carved shield in one hand, and her magnificant hammer in the other she strikes the creature.

Seeboe conjures a thorny vine that whips outward and strikes Culley, dragging it forward ten feet (and Vulpi along with it), but this does not break the grapple. While Zencho ponders the best strategy, Chispa moves in and slams the abomination with her hammer, and Vulpi stabs it twice to great effect. Ha-Yun sings an inspirational ditty.
"I'm hungry!" Culley cries in its childlike voice, projected into the party's heads mentally. "Feed me!" It then begins siphoning energy from Vulpi, leaving the elf weakened and allowing Culley to heal some of its wounds in the process.

Seeboe charges forward, striking Culley with his shillelagh while Chispa does likewise with her hammer. Vulpi continues stabbing at the monstrosity while it grapples them, and Zencho moves back in to attack with staff and fist. Ha-Yun fires her crossbow. By now, it seems the creature is on the verge of falling apart. But it strikes out at Seeboe, knocking the little gnome out. It also tries to drain Vulpi again, but this time the veteran resists.

Chispa tells the others while holding the head of her hammer close to her chest, murmuring a small prayer then holding the hammer in the direction of SeeBoe, a small radiating blob speeds towards him, entering his chest and flaws through his body while healing him.

"Aren't you lonely?" Culley asks. "Stay with us forever!"
While Chispa heals Seeboe with the very last of her divine energy, reviving the gnome from death's door, Vulpi continues to stab while it grapples them. Zencho manages to finish the creature off with a one-two with his staff and fist, the monstrosity exploding into half a dozen crawling claws. Ha-Yun takes a shot at one as they all scatter, fleeing down small tunnels in different directions, but she misses.
Kianna sways, her eyes roll into the back of her head, and she then collapses to the ground.
