Well, Agase isn't the kind of girl to talk a whole lot about herself, instead focusing on her hero. And I think that Barlemus has made it clear that he's more into rules than the prince's own brand of mischief for them to connect on any level.

Well, Barlemus tied frequently. And when he won, he didn't get very many points. Unhorsing your opponent also counts more than the maximum six points you might get from a joust. So, someone who has unhorsed someone is ranked above someone who hasn't unhorsed anyone, despite having loads of points. There are other factors, but that's about the gist of it.

Yeah, I guess my luck could have been better, but what can you do?

A low constitution will do that. So are we continuing this in June? Or NC3?
I think this might be a good pause point.
Of course, if we come back to this in June, then I'll have had two weeks to prepare. Really, it's up to you, David.

It's a difficult situation. I'm attempting to weigh the pros and cons of both options.
On the one hand, if we attempt to finish your game first, it sounds like it could take up the whole month of June. If it were just the three of us, I wouldn't really care, but if we take this course, it means Keith is stuck waiting for us to finish.
On the other hand, if we resume my game, I can't really be certain how long this second arc will take. If we assume it lasts as long as the first arc (10 sessions) and there are no interruptions, it could last at least 2 1/2 months. After such a long time, it could be very difficult to pick up the other game again.
Anyone else here want to weigh in on this?

Why couldn't we just try to finish some of it on Thursday night instead of Wednesday?

Joe works late on Thursdays. That's why we had to move the game to Wednesday, instead of Thursday.

Yeah, and anyway, who wants two games in two days? Much as I like gaming, I don't think I want it two consecutive days. Maybe if my game was on a different night, like on the weekend, but for a shorter period of time. Well, it's a thought.

Hmm. It's come to my attention that my boss at work has enrolled me in a class for the entire month of June. Every weeknight except for Friday, I'll be in class. So... It doesn't look like a whole lot of gaming will get done. Unless some other night is used.

Well then... Uh... That kinda kills me being able to play in games. I think. I'm not sure. As for my opinion, take your time and finish Joe's game at a logical point in time. I can wait.
Here's a list of my probable availability after Wednesday June 6th.
Weekends: 5:30pm and after pacific time, barring complications
Weeknights: Randomly off, continual Fridays may be possible, should I work a day it'll be 5:30 at the earliest, 10 at the latest.

Well, that is going to be a little hard on me. I can make a game after 5 on the weekends and on the weekdays, but I would have to leave at 8. I have to get ready for work, in which I leave at 9. That is only a 3 hour game at the most. Wednesdays and Thursdays are my nights off, so those are actually the best days for me. I don't see that changing anytime in the near future either.
Plus, there will be a day in June in which I will be missing a game, due to the fact that my mother is going to be in town.
So if he is just enrolling you in some class for June, that means that you should be back in July? It is possible that we could hold off the game until July.

Okay. If the class is just for June, then I assume that means things will be normal again come July. So I see three options here then:
The first is that we just hold off for a month. Then, when July starts, we begin the second arc. This means everyone has to wait another month, but at least nobody is left behind.
The second is that we go ahead and start the second arc in June. There are a number of possible explanations for why Daufer would need to take a temporary leave of absence (he's too busy with his temple, he's dealing with the Karik Orcs, he's gone on a pilgrimage). This means the game can continue as expected, but Daufer will fall behind in XP. (Another thing to consider is the party might not do as well without a healer).
The third option is really more of a compromise between the first two. We extend the hiatus another couple of weeks, and start in the middle of June. Joe still misses some game time, but not as much.
Before making a decision between the three, I'll open the floor to discussion for you three. Any thoughts?

Ergh. Well, it looks like I might be enrolled in the July class as well. Depends on how well I do in the June class. So, the earliest I'll be able to come back is July, the latest in August.
