Welcome to the grand reopening of Lost Souls!  This site is quite old, and originally was created as a supplement for my online D&D games held on OpenRPG.  Now it's for my play-by-post games, and hopefully other peoples' too, some day.  Let's celebrate!


This thread is for chatting about anything in general. You know, the kind of stuff that probably won't sustain an entire thread of its own, but is still worth talking about. Plus, it can be a useful way for the community to get to know each other some.

However, feel free to start new threads about more specific topics if you wish.  You can even resurrect old threads if you want by recreating them.  I never deleted any of the old threads from years ago, just locked them.

I might add I came over here because Nuke was advertising that you might be looking for players in some games? If so hit me up Daos.

Hi, welcome to the site.  To be honest, I've only got one active game up and running so far.  Nuke may have jumped the gun a bit in advertising for new members.  I wasn't planning on doing that for another few months, at least.  Eventually I'd like to turn this place into a bit of a hub for roleplaying games.  But right now, it's basically just my one game, and a few others I'm currently working on.

rAhh, it's just me and Breila in Octhania for the reset. No one else has piped up yet, just saying

That game isn't ready yet, though.  And it had been intended as invite-only, for the players of the original Octhanian game.

I suppose we could use a replacement for the Gontoria game, but we just started a new quest on it, so this isn't the best time to hastily introduce a new character.

Well, since two new people have now signed up, and I feel bad having nothing for them to do after going through the trouble of registering and everything, I suppose the best option is to set up and run a quick module.  I have collected quite a few over the years.  I can go ahead and kickstart Module Matinee early, assuming the new people are interested.  Does that sound good?

Now that I'm 35 today, I can legally run for president.  I also got a copy of Resident Evil 7 and a brand new gaming PC.  All in all, a pretty good day.

Well Daos happy birthday then. I'll be 35 this December. Both 1982 born what do ya know.   I just picked up Fallout 4 so not the same as Resident Evil but both post apocalyptic themed. I'm fairly addicted to Fallout 4 now.

I'm actually working through my first play-through of Fallout New Vegas now, as well.  I've played the first and second games, as well as Tactics, multiple times in the past but this is my first of the first person games.

For me it started with Fallout 2 then moved to Tactics. I then bought Fallout:New Vegas before I ever bought Fallout 3. So oddly enough I beat Fallout New Vegas before I ever beat Fallout 3. However I have been replaying both trying some of the DLC that I never managed to do before I jumped into the end game missions.
