Yep, it turns out there is at least one type of ship where the crew on the lower decks don't mind so much.

Finally, we have a reason to keep paying for Hulu!

This is the opening they are spoofing, by the way. Despite the simplicity of the lyrics, it's quite a bop (those guitar riffs!), but I'm probably biased. Apparently as a small child, this and the Fraggle Rock theme would always cause me to dance (and by 'dance' I mean just stomp my feet while turning in a circle).

Anyone get a chance to catch the new MCU show, Hawkeye, yet? The first two episodes dropped Wednesday.

I've watched the first two episodes while settling in and putting stuff away.

Yeah, I saw them! They were ok. The MCU's kind of lost me, but my dad and brother like watching them, so I stick around with them.

I've watched every thing the MCU has done so far since 2008 when Iron Man released. (Well, I haven't gotten around to watching Eternals yet, thanks to the pandemic.)
It's funny, because previously I wasn't really a Marvel fan, and knew pretty much nothing about it outside of the X-Men and Spider-Man.

Honestly I am still a Marvel fan however I'm getting into the non- MCU stuff like Venom 1 & 2 and Deadpool 1 & 2. Plus I like the Marvel shows Netflix had put out. But I have also over the last 20 years become a DarkHorse Comics fan. Hellboy by far one of my favorites, but I like other stuff from other comics as well like Spawn, V for Vendetta, The Spirit, Watchmen & The Umbrella Academy.

Umbrella Academy is written by the lead singer of my favorite band, so I consider it my duty to check it out at some point.

I've never really read any comics. Everything I know about any of the various stories came from movies, TV shows, or cartoons. When I was very little, I watched Super Friends and had a lot of DC toys; I think I also used to watch Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, which was my first introduction to the X-Men.
When I got older, I started watching the X-Men cartoon, and then later, X-Men Evolution. I also watched the first three X-Men films, but lost interest with the franchise after that. I watched the three Raimi Spider-Man movies, but not the ones with Andrew Garfield. I also watched a number of live actions TV shows, like Agents of Shield, Agent Carter, Gifted, all of the Netflix Defenders shows (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist).
I've also played a few videogames. Probably the earliest was Spider-Man and X-Men in Arcade's Revenge (SNES). I think I've played the first X-Men Legends on PS2. Oh, and I used to play quite a bit of the old X-Men co-op arcade game, back when arcades were a thing.
So yeah, ironically, everything I know about Marvel, DC, or any other superhero franchise came from adaptations. The only comics I ever read as a kid were TMNT (the Archie ones) and Sonic the Hedgehog (also the Archie ones).

Ooh, the Sonic Archie comics are very well regarded! Heck, one of my favorite Sonic villains is from there.

Wait, are they still making those? I just assumed it was lost to history by this point.
I have a few issues left, too, including the original issue 0.
