And whether there might be any repercussions for killing their representative?

Hmmm...we'll see.
Anyway, just to be completely clear, the party's plan here is to head back the way they came, but go around the swamp this time instead of through it, correct?

I was advocating for going back through the swamp for the simple reason that we are most likely not to cross paths with a returning army that way.
If we are going to do that we should wait for dawn tomorrow to strike out into the swamp proper.
So to put space between us and the Bloody Spear in the mean time we could curve around the North side of the swamp - which would give us some breathing room without adding to our travel time tomorrow.
It took us two days to get from approximately where the army is to the tunnels and we took a short cut I don't think the goblins like to take. Granted we did stop to sleep, but even if neither the runner nor the army do that it's a day out and a day back. So, we would be striking out into the swamp

How far north do you want to travel? Just until night falls?

How far north do you want to travel? Just until night falls? That was my thought process. Though I am open to other suggestions from my teammates and it's not as if the party wouldn't have time to discuss once they were out of hearing range of the guards.

How far north do you want to travel? Just until night falls? Yeah, I think that's the most prudent course of action. Right now our priority's gotta be minimizing unnecessary risk until we get a chance to rest up so that Ryan, Finbul, and Garnet can heal up our wounded. Also, I feel like this is a good time to give everyone a head's up: when Katya (or whoever) proposes going back through the swamp, Theron will steadfastly refuse. He's been feeling vaguely ill since the first time we went through there, and there's no way he's going to voluntarily go along with a plan that he thinks is likely to make him sicker. (OOC we know that's the effect of being bitten by the giant leech, right, but IC he thinks it might have been breathing in the foul air, or prolonged exposure to the stagnant water, or perhaps something else entirely.) So the only way that Theron's going to go through that swamp again is if Jherek picks him up, throws him over his shoulder, and carries him kicking and screaming. Which, admittedly, sounds like a lot of fun to roleplay...but it might be tough to sell Jherek on the idea. Oh yeah, and while we're marching north, Theron will take out that new map we just found and spend some time studying it. Are there any potentially helpful details on there that aren't on the map Ser Walls gave us?

Excellent. That will put it on Katya's metaphorical radar that Theron has been feeling ill. Hopefully Garnet and Ryan will speak up that they have also been feeling ill. Daos - Katya saw the river that flows into the swamp on the way in. Was it fordable? Time is less of an issue now, so spending a few days trekking across the mountains is feasible - and preferable to circling around the swamp to the South, due to aforementioned army.

Nope, quite the opposite. The map Ser Walls gave you was made recently. The one Theron took from Brakk-Ni's room was made 20 years ago. It's severely out of date.
Yes, the river branch is about as deep as the swamp is.

My question is 'what is the best what to get to Ubisek?'

My question is 'what is the best what to get to Ubisek?' It depends how you define 'best.' You have the same information we do right now; ibb.co/f9FaenThis is what I was originally suggesting ibb.co/hdkDX7This is what I suggest if Theron refuses to trek through the swamp ibb.co/i7QK5S-This will take a little more time (we know this because the swamp was considered the fastest way to get to the caves, which means that roaming through the hills takes enough extra time to make the swamp quicker) but not drag us through the swamp.

Is there anything the party will want to do during the night, or just skip to the morning (barring any random encounters)?

Have the IC-discussion about which way we are going and find a sneaky way to use Lay on Hands on Jherek. I'm cool with both of those happening off-screen assuming the group decides to ford the river North of the swamp.

Ladonna, when she has some free time to herself, is going to want to transcribe some of the spells from the spellbook she took. Other than that, I don't think there is anything else.

Ladonna's going to have to memorize Read Magic first. Otherwise, the spellbook will just be squiggles to her.
