Tearing his spear free of the dead goblin, Malavar backpeddles to keep the bugbear at a safe distance. Spotting an opening he jabs his spear at the bugbear's face.
OOC: Do we roll initiative each round? I seem to recall reading that we only roll once. But just in case, here's a new initiative roll.

Malavar and Drezden both move in with spear and sword, respectively, but the bugbear's chain mail defects both of their blows entirely. In retaliation, the bugbear takes another swing at the cleric with his axe, but Malavar ducks in time to avoid it. Dallion then joins in, and manages to get a nasty slash across the bugbear's arm. Krah then moves in behind him and slams the warhammer against the bugbear's back, and there's an audible crack of bone before the bugbear howls in pain. But it is not down yet. ============== Initiative OrderMalavar (1d10): 1+3 = 4 Drezden (1d10): 1+5 = 6 Bugbear: 7+7 = 14 Dallion: 9+5 = 14 Krah: 10+4 = 14 Round 3!Malavar stabs his spear with excellent strength (+2 hit/+4 dmg) and great skill (+1 hit) with Tempus' blessing (+1 hit) at the bugbear [TH 15] (1d20+4): 8+4 = 12, miss. Malavar feels rather than sees the bugbear's axe slash over his head, but manages to note that both Dallion and Krah have struck telling blows. With a shout of "FOEHAMMER!" he surges forward and tries once more to impale the great goblin with his spear.

The Lord of Battles smiles upon Malavar as the cleric's spear punches right through the bugbear's chain mail, into flesh, and out the other side. The bugbear's axe falls from numbed fingers, and the trembling creature opens its mouth as if to speak, but instead just coughs up some blood. He then slinks to the ground, dead.
Despite this, Krah continues his assault, roaring in anger. He swings the hammer at the dead bugbear, again and again, until the creature's head is nothing more than a red pulp. Only after several moments does the rage subside enough for the fatigue to set in, and Krah begins to slow and then finally, stop. He kneels there, trying to catch his breath.

Bugbear dies.

While Krah works out his anger issues, Drezden starts searching the camp. There are no signs there are any other goblins in the area. He does, however, find a sack near the dead winter wolf with some gear in it, including a great axe.

"A fine fight! The Lord of Battles was with us this day!" Malavar declares with satisfaction as he pulls his spear from the corpse of the bugbear. Bowing his head, he offers a brief prayer of thanks to Tempus. "Now, is anyone wounded?"

Krah looks over at Drezden numbly, without recognition. But it fades after a moment, he blinks a few times, and seems to return to his old self. "My axe!" He accepts the sack gratefully and looks through it. He pulls out a waterskin and finds it's empty. "They ate all of my food, too," the frost man observes.
Malavar looks over the group, but it appears not one of them took a single injury. Krah appeared to have been hurt earlier, but he's fine now. Truly, Tempus was with them for this fight.
"You have my thanks for this, all of you," Krah says. "I have avenged my wolf and retrieved my gear. Perhaps the stories of warm bloods I've heard growing up are wrong, and there are good ones among you after all. I do not know how I can thank you."

Jaxle stays in the tree so that he watch the area for any coming danger. And most of all to avoid Dell's onslaught of questions.
