"Oh, she retired to her grove for the day," Finbul replies. "She says druidic powers are strongest on solstices and equinoxes, and she can commune with nature better on those days. Me, personally, I don't see the appeal of sitting in the snow out in the wild, freezing."

"Then you may have picked the wrong vocation." She grins at Finbul, letting him know she means it in jest.

"Her view on...the matter remains...unchanged," Ingot answers. "She does...not wish to...marry one such...as myself."
Katya and Lillian
Finbul grins and shrugs. "Maybe some day I'll be powerful enough to channel heat through my body, so the cold doesn't bother me anymore. But for now, I'd rather stick to where it's warm."

An entire minute and a half pass as Ingot considers the question carefully and silently, before he finally speaks up. "A person of...noble birth?"
Katya and Lillian
Lillian can see that there are drinks and food being served at the bar by the Fryes and their staff.

"Does it have to be noble birth, or can it be, say, someone that has been knighted?" Ladonna asks. "My sister might not be here anymore, but her suitors should still be around."

"It's been really nice talking" Katya tells Finbul, honestly.
"I have another present to deliver, though" she holds the second wrapped package up as evidence "and don't want to leave my mother waiting too long. If you find yourself with no one to talk to, come sit with us, OK? You shouldn't be alone on Solstice."
Goodbyes said, she heads off to find Ser Walls.

Katya finds Ser Walls over by the entrance, speaking with Captain Alistair Stormwind. "I see," she says in response to whatever he just told her. "How odd, and on Solstice, at that. I'll inform them immediately. Dismissed." Alistair salutes and then heads outside.

"Ser Walls" Katya announces her presence by addressing her mentor. She is all business, the colorfully wrapped gift in her hand momentarily forgotten.
"I didn't mean to eavesdrop" she says, nodding her head to indicate Alistair's retreating form "but what is odd, and who needs to be informed?"

Ladonna"Do you believe...that Myra would...be happier with...him as a...husband?" Ingot asks. "He is normal...after all." KatyaDerica turns to face Katya. "Oh...you, actually. Well, you along with Miss Marche and Miss Lillian. It seems, for whatever reason, Baron Escott has decided to grant the three of you an audience today. As I'm sure you're well aware, the baron almost never leaves his manor...or grants audiences to anyone outside important noble dignitaries and such. I've no idea why he wishes to see you three, or why today, of all days."
Lillian "Eh? Garnet?" asks Finbul, having not expected that question. "Uh...she's okay, I guess? Seems more interested in reading about life than actually living it."

"Oh!" Katya responds. She takes a few seconds to be surprised. She's never met the Baron before, but is vaguely aware that this is a big deal.
When she recovers herself she says "Well. I'll gladly accompany you to tell them. Though, before we do, I-" she actually looks a little nervous.
"I realize this is kind of presumptuous, but you've been so kind to me. I've had, um, a lot going on in my life-" that was the truth "-and you've been an inspiration to me. So, for Solstice, I got you something..." she offers Ser Walls her gift. Like with her present for Finbul it was kind of small; a pendant with a modest gemstone. Ser Walls seemed like a very practical, straight-forward person to Katya. Hopefully she'd appreciate it.
