You know I am kind of surprised that they "WoTC" have not worked on more non forgotten realms campaigns/modules for 5e myself. Plenty out there even some of the Mystara ones would be good to convert over.
Though I have only converted basic edition modules to 2e myself I am not adept enough with 5e to wish to dive into that kind of a project at the moment. (Convertinganything to 5e that is)

Heck, they've even converted other settings to FR at this point. Their remake of Temple of Elemental Evil was moved to FR, for instance. I also understand they made Ghosts of Saltmarsh 'setting agnostic' instead of straight up Greyhawk.
Lucky for me, a lot of the work for converting Dragonlance to 5E has already been done for me. I've found a print out for the various races (including kender, tinker gnomes, gully dwarves, minotaur, half-ogre and even the more obscure races like phaethons, tayfolk and ursoi) and the mystic class already.

Since I recently started reading some dragonlance novels (currently on book 2 in Dragonlance Chronicles; Dragons of Winter) I like Gully dwarves, and kender. I've heard if the tinker gnomes and like those too.
That is great i suppose about the ghosts of saltmarsh though i kind of like to see how it would have been if it was GreyHawk.

Yeah, I think if I do run Elemental Evil or Ghosts of Saltmarsh some day, they will both be set in Greyhawk just for variety.

Hmm you know what else would be cool to see spelljammer i have never played it really but some aspects of it were included in game play back when i started playing in the 90's. The DM back then was pretty inclusive of things from other settings.

I've always wanted to play Spelljammer, but never found anyone willing to run it, and I usually prefer to play it at least once before running it myself.
That said, I did once give up a few years back and offer to run it myself, but none of my players at the time were interested. They saw it as too 'out there.'

It's not too out there for me I played some space setting games, Star Wars D6 being the probably more popular/prominent. Skull Mountain was a space like module that I have been partially through as well. Plus I'm a Douglas Adams fan lol so I'm into the wacky and "out there" things.

Exactly, it's not an argument I ever really understood. Magic, dwarves, elves, orcs and dragons are all fine, but sailing ships coasting through space, crystal spheres and the phlogiston are apparently too much?

Heh yeah, well it was fun to role-play a dwarf that wasn't expecting it all in the skull mountain game. We fought robots, found alien creatures and alien weapons he pretty much killed any "beast" that tried to kill him and avoided the strange looking "thing-a-ma-bobs" and boy them there robots bleed some strange looking blood when you spear em and they had strange vines for innards that zapped ya and could start fires.

Well, I went to the book store to pick up Tyranny of Dragons, and it wasn't there. So I had to order it online. It won't be here until the 1st.

One of the new sub-classes for Rogue is the Revived, which is someone who has died and come back. It sort of reminds me of the Blue Phoenix of Habbakuk prestige class from Dragonlance, which had the same premise.

Here's another, the Wildfire Druid. Sounds perfect for druids of Renos, Sirrion or even Habbakuk.

Another one--the Swarmkeeper Ranger. It reminds me a lot of the old Hivemaster kit for Druids in 2E.

I was going to say bee keeper druids right? But you already said it.

Yeah, a bee swarmkeeper would be cool, as would an ant one. I like the idea of the butterfly and firefly ones, too, so they aren't all creepy or grim.
