I got Oblivion over the weekend, expect me to be scarce. The fourth elder scrolls game. By Bethesda.

Keith, I know you'll be happy to hear this. I finally beat Ikaruga, albeit on Easy mode and with 46 deaths. My next goal is to do it in 45.

Well, I beat Brain Lord, finally.
It sucked!
Thanks for nothing, Enix.

Since it's spring, I've been playing Mario Baseball. Well, I can't really play real baseball because there's nowhere to play on campus, unless you're on the actual team. No intramural league or anything. Alas, how sad. So, I've had to make do with console baseball. Not bad, but I have trouble getting hang of the controls. I'm a demon at pitching control, my friends have a lot of trouble knowing which pitch I'm going to use. Fastball, slider, curve, change-up. Actually, those are the only pitches you can use. No sinkers, alas. Oh well. It's the next best thing, I suppose. My fielding is really bad, sometimes I throw the ball to the wrong base, so the other player can get a triple or something off of something that's just supposed to be a single. My batting is pretty okay, I have trouble using power-hitters correctly, so I don't get very many homeruns. My friends have trouble hitting a change-up, though I don't find any trouble with it.

Currently started a new game in Persona: Revelations. It's a somewhat obscure RPG by Atlas for the original Playstation. I never got around to beating it, so like Brainlord, I'm going to try one more time to do so.

I try to do that every so often with my games. I have a stack quite high, and yet, when I come across an RPG that I can't resist, I inevitably succumb, causing the stack to grow even higher.

Right now I would be playing Skies of Arcadia, but unfortunately, I lost the damn thing... for now. In the meantime, I may stick with the other RPGs I have. And MVP Baseball '05.

I finally got Final Fantasy XII. I guess I'll see if those years of Japanese class will pay off. Seems fun so far.

At this rate, October of 2007.
I've recently decided to revisit Fire Emblem. I can't do absolutely everything possible in the game; at least, not this time. It gets pretty difficult to assault the impossible-to-hit enemy surrounded by super-strong bodyguards in a single turn. And I killed a potential recruit (to be honest, I didn't want to bring in the guy I would need). It's a miracle I have all the treasure that I do. The next one will be a doozy, though; everyone has to move single-file in a place where paths wash away.
But I like a challenge.

I recently picked up a PS2 and Guitar Hero. It's slowly killing my hand, but it's okay, because I get to "play" a guitar.

I've been playing Katamari Damacy and X-Men Legends.
I got that 'na-na-na' song stuck in my head.

Update! So...been awhile since I've played any video games. I haven't finished X-Men Legends yet, nor Persona.
I miss playing The Sims 2, as well.
But, the other day, I had some free time while waiting for Heather to get ready so we could go run some errands. On a whim, I popped in Super Mario Brothers 3 and played through the first level. I was a little rusty, but I got better.
It got me thinking, though. Video games sure are different nowadays. They require commitment. Back in the day, you could pop in a game, play for a few hours, then walk away. No save points. No 40 hour epics with mini-games, hidden characters, or secret dungeons. In a way, I kind of miss that simplicity. Ah, well.
But, hey, Joe...how about an update on FF12? What's it like?
