I'm currently working through Resident Evil 4. I'm nearly through with the castle (I think.)

I've been playing Mario Kart for the DS, or I had been until I earned my two stars. Since then, I got Animal Crossing for the DS. It's a lot better, I think, than the first one. I also attempted to do a challenge run in SMRPG, but I messed up big-time, so I'll have to start over.
I actually bought FF Tactics the other day. I haven't popped it in yet, but I hope it's better than FFTA. I really hope it's better.

I really like FFT. Never played FFTA, so I can't compare the two. But I do really enjoy the original. I consider it my favorite Final Fantasy enstallment.

I restarted Terranigma recently. I have always loved that game, another one to look out for.

I just beat the original Resident Evil again, and have moved on to its sequel.

Having beat RE2, and not having access to RE3 (...yet), I'm now playing through Resident Evil: Code Veronica X.
Alfred Ashford is the strangest villain ever. Even more so than Salazar. *warbles*

It was such a wonderful experience up until the final couple hours of gameplay.
First of all, the game is short. It only lasts roughly ten to thirteen hours, but there are different endings to increase playability. The game is like an adventure game of sorts, so it will be a turn-off if you're a hardcore shooter fan. The adventure sequences are broken up by 'action scenes' which play out in a DDR/Parappa the Rapper esque 'simon says' segments. I know that sounds weird, but it works, and it kept me on the edge of my seat.
The story, the cast, the original score... all comparible to a great Hollywood film. However, and this might be a slight spoiler... the game starts out as a kind of CSI: Creepy Crimes Unit type game, which is cool, but the last couple hours suddenly turns the game into a terrible Matrix ripoff. It was like the designers couldn't think of a good ending, or were too rushed towards their deadline, and tacked the ending on.
However, I still highly recommend Indigo Prophecy for those who want something a bit *deeper* and different than shooting demonspawn on Mars or stealth missions.

Whee. I finished Code Veronica. I don't want to spoil the ending but...it involved a rocket launcher and a self-destruct sequence. Whoooo!

I'm now working through Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and Resident Evil: Outbreak.
The loading times in Outbreak are atrocious.

Heather never mentioned it, but she beat FF7 on her own. Quite an accomplishment for her. I do believe that's the first video game she's ever beaten--or at least the only RPG, anyway.
She's now actually pretty far in Chrono Cross. One night, she was beginning the Dragon Quest (where you have to fight all six dragon gods) and I went to bed. When I woke up the next day, I learned she had all ready gone through four of them. 0_o
Anyway, she just acquired the mastermune and got Serge back into the party.
As for me, well...haven't had much time for video games lately. I kind of gave up on RE3 and Baldur's Gate (again).

I'm running a few cycles in the Sims2, but I am about to start a new game in Brainlord.
