Using her keen elven eyes with her bow at the ready, Narya scans the way ahead and the ruins of the keep. She moves silently and keeps to the shadows as she looks for tracks or signs of any denizens of the once mighty fort.

Kevril watches his companions leave to scout and loosens the straps on his weapons in case they need help in a hurry. At first, his attention is strained, listening for an outcry. But he notices Daos starting to sweat and shake. "Friend Daos, all will be well. We are still within earshot and can respond to our friends quickly. Do not fear, Mayaheine is with us." Daos snaps back to reality at Kevril's words, looking at the paladin with wide eyes, before nodding. "R-Right," he says. He focuses on his breathing, trying to ground himself in the moment. One breath at a time--in and out, in and out. Slowly, he finds his control start to return and the panic subside.

Not A Surprise by the PoolThe advancing pair Narya and Roshek are greeted by giant frogs! Six giant frogs to be exact. These nasty things leap from their lurking places in the tall weeds near the edge of the pool, to a maximum range of 12". They attack madly, for they are voraciously hungry at all times. As is evident with one of them still having a boot protruding from its mouth. Anyone mounted stands a chance of being thrown off but the mounts maintain their calm even with the sudden appearance of the oversized amphibians. The Giant Frogs(Everyone can now state attacks and initiative rolls.) Everyone else that stayed back sees the sudden appearance of 6 giant frogs leap from hiding near the pool on the right of the road/path leading to the ruins main entry. Actions?

Seeing the sudden appearance of the frogs, Kevril gives Daos a slight push to get him moving while drawing his bastard sword over his shoulder as he starts to run towards his comrades. "For The Inheritor! Help comes, my friends!"

Daos has just about got his breathing under control, when Kevril pushes him, knocking him off balance. He manages to regain his footing before falling over, but looks around wildly, not sure what is going on. Upon seeing the giant frogs, he isn't sure what to do. Is this how we're going to die? Eaten by giant frogs? That somehow seems worse than being riddled with bandits' arrows! What should I do? I only have one spell. If I use it now, what will I do against the bandits? I'm so useless! he thinks. But if we all get eaten by frogs, then there's no point in keeping the spell on hand!
After a bit of inner-conflict, he decides to wait and see a bit how well the others do against the massive amphibians before committing his one spell. He takes out his sling, loads it, and lets it fly at the nearest giant frog.

(EDIT: Instead of targeting the nearest frog, Daos will instead specifically target one that is not affected by Narya's spell. No sense in Daos waking up a frog that's already been put to sleep.) 1d10+6·1d20·1d4+1

Not expecting a large group of large amphibians, Narya reaches into her sash and pulls out a handful of colored sand. She speaks the words of magic, "Peelsotog!"

Too intent on the battle happening at the moment, Daos does not even notice Obasi is missing yet. He loads up a second stone and slings it toward the frog that is still awake.

Daos, not entirely sure how he even just pulled that off, rubs absently at his injured arm. He can at least take comfort that they are no longer in any immediate danger, as long as the sleep spell doesn't wear off. "Maybe we should just kill them individually, before they can wake up," he suggests.
==============
(OOC: According to the PHB, if an enemy is sleeping or held and 'no other fighting is going on,' then the enemy can be 'slain automatically.' Basically, a coup de grâce, is what Daos is suggesting.)
