So what are you reading right now, or most recently?
I'm re-reading all of my Asimov books, starting with "I, Robot".
Although the books are a little dated (Asimov's vision of the future sometimes seems a little too much like the Jetsons), I still enjoy the books. Despite one of the character's tendency to say things like "Jumping Jupiter!"

It isn't a classic. But it is writing by the same man who wrote Crime and Punishment.

Admittingly, I've never read that, either. ;D

I never made it through Crime and Punishment, but I have a copy here at my dorm and I probably will attempt to read it again. But you have at least heard of Crime and Punishment right?

I've heard of Crime and Punishment. I've always thought about actually reading that book, along with Great Expectations, and a few more of the so called classics, considering that I've never read them. Too bad I don't have the money to buy them, and I don't want to go to the library to check them out. I would end up having to pay a late fee.

Yes, I have heard of it. Who hasn't? I have just never read it. I'm more of the science-fiction/fantasy type myself.

You can generally find classics in good condition at the library's for sell section or at used book stores for pretty cheap. My copy of Crime and Punishment is a really nice hardback that I got at Goodwill for like $3 or so. And even Barnes and Noble and Borders, I believe both, have mini classics where the compact the classics into a small portable book and they are like $4.95 or so. Fairly reasonable, in case you were wondering.

Finishing Mostly Harmless. And this new book called Carbon ~Something~. I'll edit in the name when I get to it.
Do yourself a favor. NEVER read Great Expectations.
EDIT: Name is "Altered Carbon"

Yeah, Great Expectations kicks ass. Especially the parts about the Genesis Device and the robotic killer monkeys.

What is wrong with Great Expectations is that, it is one of the most boring and pointless books ever written. In this boy's opinion.

I second Keith. It made me yawn at all the wrong times: the night before I had to read it.
Seriously, it was very dull and boring, with a story that's not very interesting and characters even less so. The only guy I liked was Joe, because he's the only one who actually did anything notable.
