Senllip fear is great, but his fear for his friends is greater. He is not sure why he didn't protect them before. Maybe he came here just to make sure there is no another feyr trying to sneak behind them. Anyway, now that he feels more confidence he returns to the rooms and starts 'raining' bullets on the painted Feyr. "This is actually suits it." he thinks to himself with a smile.

It occurs to Imrich that throwing flour or paint on the feyr when it's visible won't be of any help once it turns invisible again. He quickly lowers the paint and flour to the floor, draws three darts and hurls a volley at the monster.

Recovering from its miss, the feyr resumes its attack on Kalana. It bites deeply into her shoulder, drawing blood. The attack is so terrorizing to watch, that both the clerics turn and run out of the room, afraid beyond all belief. Flinn stabs again with his rapier, but the creature knocks the weapon out of his hand with one of its swaying tentacles. Kalana jumps in with her own attacks, but none of them are able to pierce the creature's incredibly thick protective hide. Imrich throws a pair of darts that just bounce off the feyr, then drops his last dart which impales itself right through his foot. The great feyr takes another bite out of Kalana, a sight so sickeningly terrifying that Senllip finds himself nearly overwhelmed with terror when he witnesses it. But fortunately, the halfling is able to steel himself and stay where he is. Flinn is disarmed a second time, but the others have better luck. Kalana manages to stab it twice with her blades, one of Imrich's darts punches through its hide (the spellslayer notes he only holds two darts left now), and both of Senllip's stones leave nasty bruises behind. Despite all this damage, the feyr continues to fight. The feyr bites Kalana again, leaving the warrior quite bloodied. But the creature itself does not seem to bleed, no matter how many wounds inflicted upon it.
Kalana stabs again with both blades; her elven sabre pierces its hide, but her masterwork one is deflected. The feyr starts to crack a bit, like an egg, with some kind of white light shining through the fracture. Imrich throws his last two darts, and while one misses, the other lands right in that crack, widening it further. Senllip then follows up with a stone, widening the crack even further. It's now wide enough for Kalana to thrust her sabre in entirely; so she does just that.
There's an unearthly screech, and the feyr begins to tremble, then vibrate as cracks form all over its body. The light spilling from its body becomes so bright as to be unbearable to look at. Everyone is forced to look away or shield their eyes. Then, like a balloon filled with too much air, the feyr bursts.
When the light clears, there is no evidence the creature was ever there to begin with, aside from Kalana's many wounds. The aura of fear is gone. Jaeron and the cleric both stop in their tracks, able to control their bodies once again. And little Rose stops convulsing and just lies there peacefully.

Kalana drops to jer knees, clearly out of breath from the fight, and pretty injuried as well. After letting out a few deep breaths, Kalana scoots over to Rose to make sure she is okay.

Rose is unconscious, but is breathing. She no longer convulses. Flinn joins Kalana, checking on the girl. "Is...that it? Is it...over?" he asks, unsure.
