I didn't realize there was a whole new area down there; I thought it would be just a prison room or something. In that case, maybe our best bet is to try and stun/hold/disable her and then make a run for the entrance. If we can make it to our hippogriffs, I doubt they can follow.

that was quite the ouch. Iroas being stunned means he can't run away?

He can still move, but he can't take actions or reactions, he has disadvantage on saving throws (Strength and Dexterity) and attack rolls, and other people have advantage against him.
As I'm hinting at, a defeat here isn't a loss so much as a movement to the next part of the story...if that makes any sense? Think "fun prison break" adventure, not TPK. Anywho, I'm planning on moving on to the next chapter after this encounter, whether you escape or get captured (or something else entirely)

Actually, according to the PHB, I can't move when stunned, either.
Not that it matters. Even if I could move, I can't see where to go in the fog; I can't disengage, so Helerae would get a free hit on me (as she can 'see' just fine in the fog) and with advantage, so I'd probably go down. Even if I could cast or attack, I can't see my targets because of the fog.
At best, maybe Migor and Savra can escape while Iroas is left behind. But there's no way he's getting out of this now.

In that case, I can leave it up to you two to decide what's the best course of action--to stick together and try to escape later, or for Migor and Savra to get reinforcements while Iroas remains captured.

OK, I was thinking of calling the fight a loss now, ending the chapter and moving on to the "prison break" chapter. But I did want to check in with you, first--just in case.
