Ah. Are you playing the other minotaur? Sure. I am leaning toward a female minotaur, but could go either Vodoo witch. (the savage wizard has an ability of vodoo dolls) and sure.
I imagine minotaurs are bullying wizards even more then humans, at least in the blood isles.

Yeah, after reading up a little bit on her on your recommendation I think actually that's kind of perfect. It's funny that she in other sources is described as having pretty much exactly the same coloration he does, which might be a comparison others have made in the past. I think he might have some kind of feeling that she's responsible for all the terrible things that have happened to him in some way, so it's more of an appeasement than worship. He still probably doesn't give a whole lot of thought to the gods but it might be reflexive at this point to make small offerings or hold to certain superstitions. Think I may change his shield to a turtle shell design; sort of a sardonic acknowledgement of what he feels his situation to be. Okay, sounds good. I'll officially put him down as godless, though. are minotaur pirates plausable at this timeline? Minotaur pirates are quite common, yes. Ok, updated attitude and shield on the sheet and for the languages I removed the otter one (ba-dum bish!) Is undersea common the same as Aquan? Ooh, if Minotaur pirates are plausible, would you want your char and Sha'al to know each other? or possibly to know your char's parents? No, undersea common (also known as Dargoi) is a sort of trade tongue for all of the undersea races while Aquan is more for creatures of the elemental plane of water. And I was thinking something along the same lines. We have two minotaurs and a Dimernesti mariner; that seems like a possible connection between them. I was also considering the idea of giving the party a boat. Something small and easy to crew with only a handful, to serve as a mobile headquarters and general gold steel sink (since 2E modules tended to be rather generous with treasure). With time, the party can upgrade it or even replace it with a bigger model, hire crew, house their henchmen and keep all of their excess stuff at. Given enough time and money, you could even add some cool stuff like a library or lab for the mage to research spells and such.

Love the idea of a Caravel or something as 'tavern-base' haha. Looks like things are shaping up. Out of curiosity, have you any ideas on first modules we might be choosing from?
so 2 minotaurs (gladiator and mage), Dimernesti mariner, Dwarven barbarian, what about Horizon?

I'm playing a half-elf fighter. I'm going to work more on the character tomorrow after I'm done getting my tattoo.

Out of curiosity, have you any ideas on first modules we might be choosing from? Yes. As it turns out, there are surprisingly few Dragonlance modules that start at level 1, so my options were fairly limited. In fact, it was actually just three. The first one requires at least one PC to play a Knight of Solamnia. Which nobody did. And considering that most of the party seems to be leaning more toward the darker side of the alignment spectrum, it probably wouldn't work anyway (the module assumes the party is fairly good aligned). Also, not to be superstitious or anything, but remember when I said before that the recent TPK in Sword of the Dales was the second time that had happened to me? Well, it was this particular module where it happened the first time...so I don't know, it felt like tempting fate, so I nixed that one for now. The second one is a light-hearted romp that involved lots of kender. Again, seeing that the party seems to be leaning more toward the dark side made me decide to nix this one. On the one hand, it might be hilarious. Or it could get dark really fast (e.g., the party massacring kender or something). I felt like I wanted to see how the party worked first, before taking that risk. So I went with the third option, which was also the only one that remained by default--it's called Tanglewood Keep. It's fairly short and simple. It's actually meant as an introduction to Dragonlance--literally, in fact, the module assumes you're off-worlders who accidentally get transported to Krynn. So I had to rewrite it a little for native Krynnish folk, but it should still work fairly well as an introductory adventure.

Sounds like a pretty straightforward choice then, yeah. I'm playing a half-elf fighter. I'm going to work more on the character tomorrow after I'm done getting my tattoo. Oh nice! What kind of work/design are you getting done?

I mean, if I wanted this game to be really hardcore, we'd do the default rolling rules, which is 3d6 down the line. But yeah, we're doing 4d6, drop the lowest, arrange to taste, for this one.

Eheh we did it this way in Loudo's game. But I prefer the kinder approach especially since I'd like to play an Irda and they have quite the taxing requirements. zgiamgsP4d64d64d64d64d64d6Oh nice! Well, these seems really good rolls. Let's see, I got: 14 - 16 - 13 - 16 - 10 - 10
Do you think I could work a member of the Holy Order of the Stars (just the name is already difficult to remember xD) Irda with these stats?
Something like this?
Str - 13 Dex - 10 Con - 16 - 3 = 13 Int - 10 + 1 = 11 Wis - 16 + 1 = 17 Cha - 14 + 1 = 15
