you probably correc Tristen I just crated a way to give his name since it never came up in conversation I was trying to kind of fill the lost opportunity. That and I was growing tired of writing him as "the master".
Also I'm creating a secret exit from the room even though there isn't supposed to be one to me it makes more sense for this overly cautious "master" to have some sort of alternate exit.

alright so now I've confused myself a bit I think lets continue the ooc conversations here and I suppose once I sort out the plan I will post the IC action/update?
So are you taking the secret passage out or opening the door and demanding the guards disarm then going the way of the passage?

Calling past the closed door for them to disarm. Then, us leaving secretly through the hidden exit.

Alright so I was getting this mostly right. I thought you were leaving through the secret exit. But wasn't sure if you were calling for the guards to disarm and not come in for a certain amount of time and if you were making the master Lareth tell them to disarm and not follow and or if someone was going to try and create some sort of distraction.

"Ah, good. You're so quiet, I had forgotten you were there," Daos admits. Lol. 10 points

I wanted to kick this discussion over to OOC, because I wasn't sure whether we're all on the same page or not. Does everyone want to continue with this, try to sniff out the spies, etc.? The rather abrupt way the moathouse scenario was wrapped up kind of gave me the impression Greywolf is ready to move on. (And to be fair, the moathouse alone has taken nearly two years to complete.) But I could be way off base, so I wanted to ask everyone first before presuming too much. Also, Greywolf, was this still on the table? Full disclosure, after the final battle or whatever happens here with the cult master, I don't intend to move into the Temple of Elemental Evil I've kind of lost the love for this particular module. So hopefully that does not dissuade anyone from finishing this out.
I may attempt to run something else entirely that I've run on another forum already. Old Basic D&D modules B11 & B12 maybe B10 as well. depends on interest and so forth.

Yeah, so for me i guess it doesn't matter either way. The Tristen character avoids towns as much as possible, but he came all this way to help so he will do what is necessary. But the difference here is I was replying in-character to an in-character question. I was also under the impression the module was over once we got back to town from the previous comments

Yes my offer of running the B11 and B12 modules or B10 through B12 is still on the table. I rather enjoyed running B11 and B12 with another group and would not mind doing so again. But at this point I'm all done with this moathouse the spies bit was more or less a way to tie it all up in a sort of bow I guess.

Roshek thinks it's important to both clear out the moathouse properly - hence his offer to join whatever force Rufus and Burne send to do it - and to expose any agents of Lareth and his backers. After all, keeping the roads safe is a religious duty for him.
However, as I noted IC, Roshek is hardly an experienced investigator and OOC I don't believe we have any solid leads on who might be working with Lareth in town. So I'm happy to have all that happen off screen.

Oh, I'm just happy to end the module here. I dropped in midway and picked up another player's character, so I've been pretty lost.

So it sounds like we have a sort of consensus on just ending it here?
By the way, Greywolf, did you envision us bringing the same characters into the B-series, or rolling up an entirely new party from scratch?

By the way, Greywolf, did you envision us bringing the same characters into the B-series, or rolling up an entirely new party from scratch? That I leave entirely up to you guys. I am happy to allow either. I would merely adjust what others start with based on what level this ending leaves you at. Which in turn I can always up the toughness of monsters and so forth in the other modules to correct for higher levels than it is instructed to start with.

Alright, just checking. I asked because I noticed the B series takes place on Mystara, so I wasn't sure if you were holding them there, or converting them to Greyhawk or another setting.

Well honestly I had them in Mystara my first run through them but kind of mixed in stuff from Forgotten Realms. I think it might work just fine to maybe alter names from locations in Mystara to places in GreyHawk just fine that or this is the "multiverse" maybe you guys are all magically transported to a new world. Either way as you may have figured out I do a lot of rolling with it and winging it.
