"Then it is just another thing for us to fight," Rada says as she continues her fight with the final pirate that was attacking her.

Not sure what else to do, or what Migor is ranting about, Iroas picks up the orb and puts it back in the chest, closing it, hoping that will trap the elemental inside when it is released, or at least buy them some time.
He'll also summon a spiritual hammer to fight the pirates for him while he does this.

Iroas will use his movement and action to pick up the orb and put it back in the chest. As a bonus action, he'll cast Spiritual Weapon (3rd level) and use it to strike at Reaver 04.

The final pirate in Rada's way stands strong, even as the barbarian gives a mighty roar and shocks her with lightning magic. However, she doesn't even have time to reel from the attack, as Rada follows it up with a brutal blow from her greataxe, killing her instantly. Migor, meanwhile, attempts to cast a spell to get the pirates off of Iroas' tail, but his target dodges. Iroas turns his back to his assailants, letting them strike at his back--harmlessly clanking off of his armor. Heeding Migor's words, he scoops up the Orb of Devastation and puts it back into the chest. The strange pulsing stops, and the pirates snarl at him.
"Dastard! You'll pay for that!" one cries, just before Iroas summons a glowing hammer to strike at him with. Despite the blow, he still manages to hit Iroas for significant damage, sneering as he does. The hapless pirate fighting Migor finally manages to draw blood, rending the Kobold's flesh with his serrated blade.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Rada targets Reaver 3 with her Storm Aura. She fails her saving throw and takes 5 lightning damage. Then, she attacks Reaver 3, hitting for 18 slashing damage. Reaver 3 dies! Migor casts Chaos Bolt with disadvantage (enemy within 5 ft) on Reaver 4. He misses. Iroas moves 5 ft towards the Orb of Devastation, triggering opportunity attacks from Reavers 4 and 5. Both miss. He then Uses the Orb by returning it to the chest. He casts Spiritual Weapon on Reaver 4, hitting for 8 radiant damage. Reavers 4 and 5 attack Iroas. 4 hits for 10 slashing damage, and 5 misses. Reaver 6 attacks Migor, hitting for 6 damage.

"I've had just about enough of you!" Iroas retorts, getting annoyed. He directs his hammer to strike at the pirate who just hurt him while he heals himself up again.

Rada moves to help Iroas with his pirate's, and first attacks pirate 4.

Rada sends a bolt of lightning at the pirate who's been plaguing Iroas, before charging into him and killing him with two slashes of her greataxe. The remaining two look at her in fear, just before one barely ducks a spell from Migor. Iroas heals himself with magic, undoing all the damage of the fourth pirate's attack, then hits the fifth one with such a massive blow that his weapon is knocked out of his hands. The two pirates give each other a pair of feared glances, before turning and running out of the town.
Migor starts aiming a spell at the fleeing pirates, looking to Iroas for confirmation before he casts it.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Rada targets Reaver 4 with her Storm Aura. He fails his saving throw and takes 4 lightning damage. She then attacks him with her greataxe, hitting him for 15 and 17 slashing damage. Reaver 4 dies! Migor casts Fire Bolt on Reaver 5 with disadvantage (enemy within 5 ft). He misses. Iroas casts Cure Wounds on himself, healing 10 HP. He then attacks Reaver 5 with his Spiritual Weapon. Critical hit! Reaver 5 takes 10 radiant damage and drops his weapon. Reavers 5 and 6 disengage and move 30 ft away from the party.

Iroas nods to Migor. "Let's try and take at least one alive, though." He starts praying to The One Who Endures, calling upon his divine power to stop the fleeing pirates, if possible. Iroas had questions, and he intended to get answers.
================
Iroas will cast Hold Person on the fleeing pirates with his last 3rd level spell slot. If both are held, he will ask Rada to tie them up next round. If one is held and the other is not, or if both make their saves, he'll direct his spiritual weapon to attack whichever one looks weakest.

Both pirates freeze in their tracks when Iroas casts his spell, and Rada moves quickly to tie them up. A few people come out of hiding to applaud the party.
"By the gods above, you've saved us all!" one man says, shaking Iroas by the hand. "I don't know what would have happened if those thugs did...whatever they were trying to do!"

"Hopefully, we can find out from these two what they were up to, and why," Iroas says, shaking the man's hand. Despite Migor's insistence, he somehow doubted it was just an elemental inside of that orb. "Have you had problems with these people before? They seem to be some kind of river pirates operating out of a place called Rivergard Keep."

The man shakes his head. "No, no. I don't recognize them, at least. And if they're pirates, they target ships, and few ships come out of Red Larch--owing to the lack of water," he jokes. "Why would they attack us?"

"I'm not completely sure," Iroas answers, although he has an idea. "Is there a place we can take these men for interrogation? A local jail or something of the like?"

Rada keeps a close eye on the pirates, and listens to Iroas question a local.

"Yes, we have a jail. I can speak to Mayor Hummingway about it," the man says, walking off. After a few minutes, the pirates are released from the spell, cursing and struggling with their bonds. The man returns, giving Iroas a nod. "The Mayor says you have her permission. I can show you to the jail, if you'd like."

"Thank you," Iroas says, and he forces the pirates to their feet and marches them along to the jail.
