Rada follows along with Iroas. "How do you plan to get them to talk?"

Iroas just shakes his head silently, not wishing to discuss whatever interrogation methods he comes up with openly in front of the prisoners he's planning to interrogate.

Iroas and Rada take the prisoners to the jailhouse, and after telling the jailer about the Mayor's orders, lock the two pirates in separate cells.
"You'll never beat us. The Crushing Wave will come back stronger than ever!" one of them says.

"And why is this 'Crushing Wave' so interested in Red Larch?" Iroas asks. "What is their intended goal?"

Rada, for the time being, just remains quiet. Though, she has to admit that the name of these pirates seems kind of weird. Did pirates give themselves names like that? She heard of them naming their ships, but nothing like giving themselves a name like they were a gang or something.

"To destroy you," one of the pirates sneers. "Jolliver saw you fly off, and he said there was only one place you could have been headed: here. So we decided now was as good a time as ever to show these fools the true power of elemental water." He gives you a sinister grin.

Iroas glances to the chest containing the orb warily, before turning back to the pirates. "And what is the true power of 'elemental water,' exactly?" he asks.

"The power to sweep away whole cities in the blink of an eye," the pirate says. "Just as water gives life, it takes it away. Everything returns to the water that birthed it someday--we merely want to accelerate the journey."

Iroas' eyes widen at the thought. He knew Migor was wrong about it containing a water elemental, but he never imagined it was something that terrible. "You were willing to wipe yourselves out, along with an entire town, just to get at us? To what end?"

"Simple. To create a better world for our Prince, Olhydra," the other pirate answers.

"And how does washing away an entire town make the world better for this prince of yours?" Iroas asks.

"It gives him more territory," Rada says softly.

"Precisely. More land for the domain of our Prince--or should I say, more water?" he snickers.

"Are you not already aware that most of the surface of this world is covered in water?" Iroas asks them, exasperated by the sheer foolishness of it all. "Is this not enough for your so-called prince? Do you also understand that if the world floods, you would all die, as well? Why would you follow someone looking to do such horrible things? What can you possibly expect to gain from such loyalty to someone who has no regard for your own lives?"

"You fool, you don't understand, do you?" the prisoner laughs. "It's the destiny of all living beings to return to the water from whence they came. Olhydra will reward us for our loyalty in his new world--the water from our bodies will form the mightiest rivers and lakes!"
"He doesn't sound like a pirate to me," mutters the prison guard. "More like a madman."
