Alright so I completed the Gorgon DLC for The Outer Worlds that was interesting though I wasn't sure which way to go with the "optional" ending choices. Kinda crappy options either kill this person or that person. I tried to talk it out so I didn't have to kill either but that didn't work. So I felt a bit forced into killing either option A or B. But other than that it was interesting to play through.

Yeah, I remember being disappointed in Peril of Gorgon's ending. Despite the atrocities you learn about caused by Spacer's Choice, and despite your party all agreeing that they must be held accountable, the public must know, etc.--none of that happens? There are three endings, but none of them end with Spacer's Choice facing any consequences at all. There's no option to make what happened on Gorgon public. I don't know, just sort of threw me off.

Well that and one of the side quests is flawed. Returning the phonographs supposedly you get two options but even though I had them all I was unable to do the alternate option of returning them to the mechanical I had to just return them to the reporter instead.
I'm working on the murder mystery DLC now and I am rather enjoying it. A lot is wrong on this planet as well.

I remember I really enjoyed Murder on Eridanos. It's particularly fun if you have a high Science skill, like I did.

I just like the whole solving a murder mystery that turns into solving other mysteries at the same time. That and the funky talking magnifying glass gadget. It's great when you hack it to turn on other features. Now mine talks snarky and dramatically.

I forgot to mention, but I've put BG3 aside for now. It just runs so slowly on my computer, it's not worth the effort of loading it up (a process that takes up to 15 minutes) only to have it crash half the time anyway. Maybe one day I can upgrade my computer to run it faster. But in the meantime, I've returned to BG1, which does run quite well. I rolled a Human Thief and have been trying out a Neutral playthrough, something I've never done before. Made it to level 3 and am in Chapter 2, half-way through the Nashkel Mines. My party consists of Imoen, Jaheira, Khalid, Montaron and Xzar at the moment; they're all level 2 except Imoen who is also 3. It's been difficult keeping the two Harpers and two Zhents from killing each other. As soon as the mines are complete, I'll probably drop them off for others. I just wanted to complete their personal quest first.

Is there a cheap boost?

Honestly? No idea. I'm a complete idiot when it comes to computers. I just know enough to use one, but I don't know what my specs are or how to even find out.

Having played through The Outer Worlds twice now I have moved on to playing Skyrim. Man this is much better than the other Morrowind game I tried. I'm around level 12 ish now and unlocked three different dragon shouts. Took me a while to figure out how to use them. Man there is so much content in this game, I'm sadly very late to the part but enjoying it.

It's been a minute since I last played Skyrim. Looking it up, my last game was completed in 2017.

I've made some progress in my BG1 playthrough. I'm in Chapter 5, having reached the titular Baldur's Gate. I forgot how massive the city is. My party is now:
CHARNAME (Human Thief 7) Branwen (Human Cleric 6) Xan (Elf Enchanter 6) Garrick (Human Bard 7) Faldorn (Human Druid 6) Safana (Human Thief 7)
It's a full Neutral party. I had thought about swapping Safana with Quayle at some point, but ultimately decided another spellcaster wasn't needed. No warriors, which makes things kind of challenging. I usually have Branwen tank/heal/buff, Xan crowd control/blast, Faldorn heal/crowd control, Safana fires with her crossbow of speed, Garrick plays his bard song, and CHARNAME either fires his bow or uses his scimitar (Icingdeath--he stole it from Drizzt) to backstab.
It turns out there's a whole questline for thieves in the city that I've never done before, so that's been fun.

I remember the thief's questline, it's the last thing I did before stopping playing 😥
In other news, I'm back playing BG3. I'm doing an Honour run (a new mode they introduced recently. Basically if your party wipes, the run is over. Yesterday I've made it to the Shadowlands.)

Sounds downright old school.

Yes, it's a nice mix of new school mechanics with the old school thrill. It certainly keeps me on my toes (almost) every encounter.
