"Let's see. I met with the almoner. He is a very very nice older man that goes by Master Sern, " Ladonna explains. "It is actually a little unsettling just how nice he is. I felt extremely guilty for not being able to make a donation to the church today after meeting him," she says with a shake of her head. "I also met Sadduce Winters. While we talked about more personal matters, I did hear that she is someone that likes to play into politics, so she might be someone you need to keep an eye on during your training," she says. "I didn't meet Mistress Foxmore, but I did have a little conversation with the Count. I was trying to get some information as to what your time here will look like. I'm not really sure where you are going to start first, but it seems as if he plans on introducing you to a good deal of nobles, and helping you wade through your share of politics."

"Why weren't you able to make a donation?" Helen asks. "My understanding is you made quite a bit of gold on your recent exploits with the goblins. In any case, thank you for the report. There is a lot of useful information there. But now I should start getting ready for dinner. I'm to eat with the Solans again, and I need a bath and to change into something nicer."

"There are things I'm going to need money for, and at the moment I don't know how much money I'm going to need, my lady," Ladonna explains to Helen. "We'll leave you to getting ready. We should probably check on our other companions," she admits before she takes her leave of Helen. She doesn't waste any time in seeking out Ignot, her father, and Liala.

"W-Wait," Helen calls out after them, flummoxed. "Where are you going? I just said I need a bath and to change clothes...am I supposed to do all that by myself?" she asks, baffled by the very idea.

"Ah," Ladonna pauses as she didn't know she was supposed to help bathe and clothed this woman. "Forgive me, my lady. We are new to this, so we didn't know," she explains. "Lillian, why don't you prepare the bath, and I'll pick out something for our lady to wear."

Helen sighs in relief and nods. Working together, Ladonna and Lillian draw a bath, help Helen out of her dress, scrub her down, wash her hair, dry her off, and help her into her evening gown, then fix up her hair and makeup. It's exhausting, takes a couple of hours, and leaves their fingers all pruny.
Still, the results speak for themselves. Helen looks great. "Thank you," she says, admiring herself in the mirror. "I think that is all I need you for tonight. I'll call for you in the morning. You can have the rest of the evening to yourselves," she tells them.

Ladonna and Lillian head for the guesting house, and find the others--Finbul, Liala, Ingot and Jonas--in a meeting room. There's a long table with massive, finely wrought chairs that stretches across the length of the room. Expensive tapestries depicting famous historical scenes line the walls. The four sit at the table, speaking with each other. They wave the pair over when they arrive.
"How was your...first day in...Hart?" Ingot asks.

"More exhausting than I previously believed it would be," Ladonna says with a sigh as she sits down at the table. "Joy, the Count's daughter, seems to have an intense interest in you, Ignot."

Ingot reacts to this news like any other situation, completely stone-faced. "Interest...in me?" he asks after several seconds of silent pondering.
