As mentioned in the recruiting If it's in the following Books it's fine by me so long as it is not a Psionic, Necromancer, or Assassin. I am running this in 2nd edition D&D, please no underdark races or evil characters though Neutral Evil may be allowed (potentially). Kits are fine as well but not required.

I will add that the module "suggests" one of each class which based on how old this module is most likely means a Fighter type, Cleric/Priest type, Wizard type and a Rogue type. Don't forget to start at 2nd level max your HP for first with Con bonus, for Stat rolling it's 4d6 drop the lowest and place in whatever order you wish.
Starting Gear/Equipment: I give the following items out to every character for free so you do not need to purchase them with your starting money of 180gp that everyone gets.
1x Backpack 1x Bedroll 7 days Dry Rations 1x Waterskin 1x Small belt pouch 1x set of clothing includes a belt 1x dagger or knife with sheath

Yeah, I've played with a worse array than this. This is actually fairly close to Daos' original array, which maybe means I should think about playing him again. I don't know yet.

So, would you allow Aasimar? I may be willing to allow them. However they aren't in the complete book of humanoids so where are they source wise in 2nd edition? I'm only familiar with them from 5th edition. Edit: Never mind I found that they are in a planescape book The Planeswalker's Handbook on page 70. I've read it over and will allow it.

How do you want to handle starter spells? I'm thinking on that one normally I just let the players pick what they want and roll the chance to learn percentile but I'm considering other options. Perhaps If you want to give me a list of say 6 spells you want We can start there.

Alright. Six first level spells. Well, Detect Magic, Read Magic and Identify are always essential. So that leaves three more. So I'd go with...Sleep, Magic Missile and Armor.

Alright so I forgot to put in a house rule for mages Read magic is a freebie as is detect magic. So feel free to pick 2 more. Also Cantrip I'm allowing as well since they are a sort of level 1 type spell with a more basic action type, I'm making that a freebie as well.
