Question regarding the 85 points to distribute and racial bonuses. Since you have the rule of max 18 after bonuses, how would the bonuses come into play at all? For instance, no elf will have a 19 Dex, but the CON penalty would come into play limited his CON to 17 max, correct? Additionally, do humans (and half-elves) essentially have 86 points to distribute because all other races essentially have a +1/-1 evening system while humans have a +1 to any stat without the -1 trade-off.
Might I suggest that the non-halfelven demihuman races be allowed to cap above the 18 limit while humans and half-elves be limited to 18 Max?

I’ll keep the generation rules as they are currently.
I wanted to give more incentive to playing Humans and Half Elves in general, and Racial Bonuses will allow for more possible high scores, nothing wrong with having a small foible in your character either.

Unless you are severely punishing dwarves, gnomes, halflings or half-orcs not much will "inspire" to play a human. I have a preferred race (dwarf) couldn't tell you why it's just how i "roll" Now as for character sheets do you have a preferred manner/source in which you wish to get them?

Generally it’s better to play one of the others, they come with an attribute boost, a penalty, and a bunch of features and abilities. The standard house rules are no level limits, no class restrictions, and no restrictions to dual classing. I’m just trying to even the field between the races. Make humans slightly more appealing.
Humans have gained a small attribute boost, and one NWP. Half Elves still have their standard bonuses.

Eh I generally like to run races that are longer lived than humans and I already am a Human in reality so I'd rather play something I am not.

So does everyone know what they are going to play, class/race wise? I was thinking of going male human fighter.

Dwarf Thief or maybe Dwarf Fighter/Thief.

Either a Bard or a Cleric. Human or Half-Elf.
Are the Specialty priests from Faiths and Avatars ok?

Are you guys looking at the Double Kit options? What are you thinking about tacking on to the Waterdeep Kits?
What about those Faerun specific classes? The Shadow Walker seems pretty neat, and I’ve never actually seen a Harper in play.

I recommend taking the Waterdeep Kits in the Character generation thread. They give you more options for NWP and things. The first several adventures will be primarily in or near the city, the kits allow for expanded options for problem solving...within the games rules.
If you go single class you can choose a Waterdeep Kit and an additional kit for your class. If you Multiclass, you only get one kit. Dual class can kit first or second, but not both times.
