The mage searches his memory from the training and considers if the temple is where the sea elves claim it to be.

Nobanion considers the situation. He silently prays to Waukeen for an equitable solution, and makes his decision. "We don't really care which of you heals this man, but you can do it right here. Afterwards, as City Guards, we will take charge of the artifact and return it to the Watch Captain at the end of our shift." He slips on his gloves as he continues, "I will take charge of the amulet because I will not need to touch it, and I can place it in one of my pouches for safekeeping." Dirk chuckles. "Good luck trying to remove it from him. It seems stuck due to the curse. Maybe it needs a follower of the Wavemistress?"

“I am Prior Donken Skippershelm. I serve the Waterlord, Istishia, same as that vagrant. I am the ranking cleric in The Order of The Sacred Sea we pray to protect ships at sea, and to safe guard the ports of all those civilized enough to acknowledge our Lords power and grace. The boy said you had need of my pious guidance and wisdom. A curse has been laid on this good fisher?!?” He stride forth boldly towards the group and the other two priests.
The Holy symbols are indeed the same, just slightly off color. The garments couldn’t be further apart. Bulcutha’s seaweed rags look even more wretched beside the brocade silk and heavy velvet of Donken’s Tabard and cloak.
Donken turns to the group, “Who speaks for the Watch? I believe this poor soul...” he looks about for a name and T. J. hops forward to give it to him
“Teddy m’lord! His names Teddy”
”Yes, remand this Teddy into my custody. The Waterlord’s glory will see him healed and returned to the flock in short order. Let us put this poor man’s suffering to an end.” He seems rather self assured and certain you will agree with his opinion.
Bulclutha speaks up next, his faces blotched and purpled with a bit of embarrassment. “Do not speak I’ll of our Lord’s Servants Prior. I follow the current the same as you, and it brought me here. I ask that the watch leave Theodore with me. So that my Storm Maiden and I may free him of his burden and show him a righteous path.”

"Ut, yeah, if you both follow the same god, why aren't you working together?" Barlemus asks, equally puzzled.

Dirk ponders, "Perhaps we should just cut the man in two - giving each group of priests a half to care for?"

Both men become visibly annoyed when told they are one and the same. Bulclutha speaks up, his tone as if speaking to confused children. “Many worship the Water Lord, some are drawn to his power and chaotic personality, others pay homage to the wealth of knowledge held deep in his domain. Still others view him as a father protecting wayward children. The Prior and I represent different sects in the Church of Istishia. I represent The Storm, the great cleansing gale! We know that only through The Waterlords Grace will the earth and seas be cleansed of their wickedness. Allow us to baptize this man in salt and sand. That he may be freed of his Torment.”
The Armored priest snorts mockingly. “Aye the ragamuffin sea elf speaks the truth. We are different facets on the great sapphire that is our divine masters domain. Unfortunately for him, he chose a face with occlusions and cracks. Worship of Storms only brings pain and destruction. My order prays for the protection of those who ply the waves. Clearly this wretched soul should be remanded to my company, that we may cleanse him of his curse.”

Tagon chimes in again "Fine ya aren't tha same! So be it! How about we focus on the real issue at hand this poor fella and his damned curse. Who ever can cure him of it and removed the damned cursed item so be it I don't care just stop your damned bickering!"

The elven wizard ponders the situation and then says, "What worries me is the 'baptism' that may mean that this soul would be cleansed and die by Bulclutha. I am of the mind to recruit the assistance of Prior Dunken."

"Yeah, baptizing with salt and sand sounds painful," Barlemus agrees, scratching the back of his head. "I side with Prior Skippershelm, too."

Tagon after scolding the priests agrees "Aye that'd be a baptism I'd only wish upon my enemies."

Knowing the strange practices a schism can cause in a church from his church history lessons as an acolyte, Nobanion is less surprised than his fellow watchmen. But he completely agrees that the baptizing the sea elves propose sounds painful, and with the idea that Skipperhelm is better equipped to deal with a goodly man cursed by foul magic. "Prior Skipperhelm, if you and your followers will take charge of this man? He has done no harm, and was only harmed in an attempt to protect his friends from his compulsion. Please cure him of this malady. We will come by your temple to pay our respects towards the end of our shift, or possibly after, to collect the artifact and make an offering for your prayers."
He turns to the sea elf priest, "Deepwaterman, I mean you no disrespect. But we must take the methods of curing into consideration to be sure as little harm as possible befalls a Waterdhavian citizen. And being scoured with salt and sand may be something you enjoy. But considering Teddy's state of unconciousness, I see no possibility of his giving consent to be baptized at this time. Thank you for your offer of assistance and good evening."

Bulclutha bows to the party, and gestures for his companion to do the same. She follows her mentor’s suggestion and bows as the Deepwaterman speaks. “The Prior is the Port will of course seek for poor Teddy to pay for his rescue. It is the way of his sect. Nothing is free in a world of merchants and pirate princes. He serves their ilk...and is of course of their ilk. My apprentice and I will continue our rounds, may The Tide’s will bring you joy.” He stands and moves to enter the mist. Leaving the Watchmen with the Prior and his hireings.
“The Storm folk don’t understand how difficult running a proper temple age can be. Of course I will expect Teddy to repay the kindness of the Water Lord. It is only right that he dedicate something to the church that heals him. Be that his time, his soul, or his gold.” He gestures for his man at arms to gather up Teddy. “Does the watch require the offending item after the man is released from its cursed hold? I can arrange for it’s delivery to you along your patrol route.”

"I do. Thank you for you consideration. it may be important in the investigation into this incident by our superiors." Nobanion inclines his head to the Prior and turns to be on his way.
