(Side note: is there a way to set this up to get alerts to my email? I keep forgetting to check this site.) (OOC: Yes, at the top of the sub-forum, next to the search bar, is a drop down menu labeled 'Actions.' Choose it, then click "Notification Options.")

Alonzo stalks up behind one of the wolves going after his comrades and lunges with his two long daggers, striking at its unprotected vitals while it's distracted. {OOC Actions} Alonzo is after the wolves, so he'll go after one who's attacking the folks who ran forward unless one runs past them to attach the back line. Flynn, while being the fastest to act, is also the slowest to understand what's going on. He looks at the pack of wolves attacking, looking rather confused. Qurrak rushes to attack the sixth, but misses. They have some trouble figuring out where to attack, what with his two shields, but they settle for biting him in the legs until he passing out from his injuries. The wolves on the left hound Aerendyl and Alonzo. The first's attack clangs off the Paladin's armor, causing quite the toothache. The second manages to find a weak spot, dealing considerable damage. The third wolf gets a hit on Alonzo, but only injures his appendix, which serves no purpose anyway.
Aerendyl strikes at the first wolf, killing it in an instant. He slices at the second, but it dodges--right into Alonzo's daggers. Finally, Daos strikes the sixth wolf with an extremely cold spell.
[OOC: Actions for next round?] *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Flynn does nothing, much like a duck with a chair. Qurrak attacks Wolf #6 and misses. Wolf #1 attacks Aerendyl and misses. Wolf #2 attacks Arendyl with advantage and hits, dealing 8 Damage. Wolf #3 attacks Alonzo with advantage and hits, dealing 4 damage. Wolf #4 attacks Qurrak with advantage and hits, dealing 7 damage. Wolf #5 attacks Qurrak with advantage and misses. Wolf #6 attacks Qurrak with advantage and hits, dealing 8 damage. Qrruak falls unconscious. Aerendyl attacks Wolf #1 and hits, killing it. Then, he attacks Wolf #2 and misses. Alonzo attacks Wolf #2 and hits both times, killing it. Daos attacks Wolf #6 with Ray of Frost, hits and does 8 damage.

This wasn't going well already; if this is how they fared against a pack of wolves, how would they deal with bandits? It was time to pull out all the stops; simple cantrips weren't going to win this fight.
Quickly, Daos pulls a small handful of sand from one of his pouches and starts to chant in the arcane language of magic. He then throws the sand in the air, directing the cloud toward the largest cluster of wolves. Their tendency to team up on people will now, hopefully, be their undoing.
==============
Daos casts Sleep on the largest concentration of wolves, but avoids targeting any of his allies. Probably the group that took down Qurrak.

Aerendyl vaer Tharandiir, Paladin of BahamutHP: 4 of 12 | AC: 15 | Perception: 12 | Insight: 12 | Inspiration: 0 Conditions: None.Savaged by the beasts, Aernedyl focused through the pain, trying to assess the situation, so he could effectively defend his companions. He could move to the large beastman's side and implore Bahamut to channel his grace through Aerendyl to revive the mighty warrior, however, if he did so he risked a wolf tearing out the warrior's throat before he could regain consciousness. Then, suddenly, wolves began to drop, as the slender mage whispered some ancient words, and invoked a fey like enchantment which seemed to settle the pack of ravenous beasts. Aerendyl, taking advantage of the mage's powerful enchantment, moved to one of the wolves still howling, and quickly attempted to end it's threat to himself, and his new found allies. {Out of Character Actions}OOC: Move to a still conscious wolf, attack with my greatsword, 1d20+6= ;pXuW1Ddk1d20+6. If that hits, 2d6+4= ;2d6+4 damage, with an additional 2d6= ;2d6 if the initial attack crits. Ah, brother! Glad you decided to join us. Mind the front end, it's pointy. Alonzo stabs at the nearest wolf, trying to take advantage of Flynn's distraction. If he can get awway without being bitten, he then darts out of melee.

Flynn jumps into action, healing Qurrak and killing the sixth wolf. The minotaur, enraged, makes a mighty attack against one of the wolves and misses terribly. However, this does make them reconsider attacking him, and they bite Flynn until he falls unconscious. The third wolf misses Alonzo, who strikes it with one of his daggers. Aerendyl rushes towards the eastern front, pushing past Daos and killing the two remaining wolves. The last wolf standing, injured and weak, runs away before Daos gets a chance to cast sleep on it.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Flynn attacks and hits Wolf#6, killing it. He casts Healing Word on Qurrak, reviving him. Qurrak rages. He attacks Wolf#4 and misses. Wolf#1's childbearing days are over. Wolf#2 is looking a bit ill. Wolf#3 attacks Alonzo and misses. Wolf#4 attacks Flynn and hits, dealing 9 damage. Flynn falls unconscious. Wolf#5 kicks Flynn while he's down. Wolf#6 has failed to live. Aerendyl attacks Wolf#4 and kills it. He attacks Wolf#5 and kills it. Alonzo attacks Wolf#3 and hits. It runs away. Daos is slightly disappointed he didn't get to use his spell. End Combat!

With the wolves dispersed and there being no need for his spell after all, Daos instead moves to Flynn to try and bandage the man's wounds.

FLYNN! Alonzo drops his daggers and runs to his brother, fear plain on his face. He picks up Flynn and holds him in his arms, looking around wildly. No no no no... Somebody help him! Please, can any of you heal him?! Once Daos and Qurrak move over, he holds Flynn up and tries to help as best he can. He murmurs softly to Flynn in desperation. Don't you die, little brother. Not here, not now.

Daos is able to stabilize Flynn's wound, so he's no longer in danger of dying in 24 seconds. However, he's still unconscious--it will take some healing or rest before he's ready to fight again.
