The Harpers are a semi-secret organization. I think most well-traveled people have probably at least heard of them, and know they are good guys. But probably not much else.
As for Harper pins...well, Malavar is fairly intelligent, well-traveled and he is skilled in heraldry. So I'd be okay with him being aware that the Harpers identify themselves with special pins.

Okay, so here's the party treasure pool, not including Damien's diary, the magic broad sword, the magic long sword and the magic chain mail. I'll list what they are appraised as being worth:
A pale blue quartz (10 GP) An ivory scroll tube with gold-plated end caps (55 GP) A gold quill-pen case with a scene of Maer Dualdon (one of the lakes of Ten Towns) chased on it and emblazoned with the initials MM (10 GP) A gold-handled comb and brush set (20 GP) A polished silver mirror (15 GP) A set of heart-shaped golden earrings (5 GP) A nice looking clasp of knucklehead-trout bone with a carving of a great forked tree (3 GP) 97 gold pieces 2 red rubies (50 GP each) Mace (8 GP) Ruby dagger (2 GP) Two Emerald rings (200 GP each) Black robes (20 GP)
Total value of everything listed is 745 GP. So thirty percent of that is 223 GP and 5 SP. This leaves 521 GP and 5 SP to split among the remaining party members, which would come to 104 GP and 3 SP each.

According to this post, the mace, the dagger and the robes all detected as magic, so I wouldn't put those in the loot pile to share with Peddywinkle. After all, his latest offer was to leave all the magic items to us.

Okay, in that case, total value is 715 GP. So thirty percent of that is 214 GP and 5 SP. This leaves 500 GP and 5 SP to split among the remaining party members, which would come to 101 GP and 1 SP each.
And I suppose the party should decide who gets the mace, dagger and robes then.

I don't think anyone currently has proficiency with a mace, so that could either be kept as a sweetener for interested parties in the future or it could be kept in case someone does pick up proficiency with a mace. The dagger could perhaps go to Captain Taska unless one of the other PCs really wants it. We don't know what the robes do, so I'd wait to apportion them until we can get them identified.

Okay then, we'll see if Peddywinkle's Harper contact could identify all our magical loot...assuming he/she is legit, of course.
In the meantime, Malavar can hang onto the mace (he could always pick up proficiency next level) and Taska can have the dagger as a peace offering. She did help out a lot down in the tower. It's a shame there's no magic axe for Krah, but if we end up wintering in Targos Malavar would be happy to make him one as thanks for his help.
Other than that, we take the money, and can then return to the regularly scheduled show in the IC thread.

Okay, and does anyone want any of the actual treasure in lieu of the cash, or are we just liquidating the entire thing into coin?

Malavar would consider keeping the scroll case as part of his share, but otherwise there's nothing in particular he's got his eye on. And even the scroll case can be dropped if needed.

I would think a rogue might find the mirror useful a bit slide it under a door and use it to see around the room before picking a lock or opening a door. Same with outside a building crouch under a window hold it up until you can see reflections of what is inside.

Okay, inventories for everyone have been updated.
Also, who's going to hold on to the book for now?

This seems like an excellent moment for Dallion to have rolled a Spellcraft check to learn what spells Arlia cast...

Well, player me still doesn't trust Peddywinkle or the Harper, especially since Peddywinkle is conveniently busy when his Harper contact shows up. Plus, him having a magic hat and her a magic hair pin leads my thoughts in the direction of a certain magic item that's highly useful for creating disguises.
However, it's unlikely that Malavar would be aware of the existence of such an item and Arlia hasn't really done or said anything suspicious, so it's difficult to motivate having Malavar take further steps to try and work out if we're being conned. The only thing I can think of in any case is to have one of our thiefly types follow Arlia to see where she goes and/or have someone speed off to Peddywinkle's room as soon as she leaves ours and see if he's actually there. But, again, Malavar doesn't really have a strong reason to suggest either course of action.
If no one else wants to pursue my (their?) suspicions, we're just about done with the module, I guess?
