To be honest I stopped counting after I realized I had way more money than I needed, but she had about 30 stp left before I added the equipment you suggested to me (so the bedroll, waterskin, rations, candles and tinderbox), so I assume she'd still have the 8 stp to buy a mule.

Okay, Habbakuk it is. You are correct about proficiencies--a Barbarian is a warrior, so that's 4 WP and 3 NWP. But don't forget that due to his INT, he gets 1 more proficiency slot, as well. I assume his extra language will be Common? As for equipment, I went ahead and ran the numbers of everything you mentioned; assuming you meant hemp rope and not silk rope, then he can afford all of it and still have 1 steel and 1 silver piece remaining. After that, all that remains is his appearance, personality and history. Language: Common and does he not get Dwarven as a "given" due to race? Appearance: Taller than most dwarves, with an athletic build more like smiths of the race, less barrel chested and more toned muscular body. His reddish brown hair is shaved into a mohawk on his head and a long braided beard with mustache for facial hair. Tribal tattoos are see on the sides of his head, arms and chest (when his armor is not on). This as as close as I can locate for what he looks like image wise (minus the eyepatch, and shorten the mohawk):

I think I have fixed the crunch issues. also, before I rolled to have 6 spells, which half I pick, and half you are supposed to? as for ancient histoey and launguagw, I think anything that related to the High Ogre Empire You pick three and I pick three. From your character sheet, it looks like you chose Audible Glamer, Burning Hands and Change Self; I chose Read Magic, Detect Magic and Magic Missile. For Ancient History, I'll put down 'Age of Dreams' then. And for Ancient Language, I'll put 'Kolshet' (which is ancient High Ogre). Which language did you want her to know how to Read/Write? To be honest I stopped counting after I realized I had way more money than I needed, but she had about 30 stp left before I added the equipment you suggested to me (so the bedroll, waterskin, rations, candles and tinderbox), so I assume she'd still have the 8 stp to buy a mule. Okay, well your starting coin was 100 STP, so I'll just do the math again and subtract everything you have currently from that. Medallion of faith - 25 STP Hide armor -15 STP Backpack - 2 STP Medium shield - 7 STP Scimitar - 15 STP Small belt pouch - 7 SP Component pouch - 1 STP Sling bullets (x10) - 1 SP Flint and steel - 5 SP Candles (x5) - 5 CP Dry rations - 10 STP Waterskin - 8 SP So if my math is right here, that leaves her with 5 CP, 1 SP and 29 STP. That should be enough. A mule costs 8 STP. Halter is 5 CP. A pack saddle is 5 STP. So yeah, that should work fine. If this is the case, everyone let me know which of their gear they'll be putting on the mule. Also, what is the mule's name? I'll be statting it up when I get the chance. It can carry 250 lbs before it hits encumbrance. Language: Common and does he not get Dwarven as a "given" due to race? Correct, Dwarven would be considered his 'native' language. So that leaves Personality, History and your last proficiency slot from INT. You could devote it to Single-Weapon Style Specialization for a -1 to AC, since both Battle Axe and Warhammer are one-handed weapons. Or Two-Weapon Style Specialization if you want to duel-wield them, as that will lower the penalties from -2/-4 to 0/-2. Or you could use it to buy another NWP, if there's one more you want that only costs 1 slot.

For what it's worth, knowing to read Magius just gives you a +2 spellcraft check on dealing with scrolls or other magical writing. It's not required to study magic.
So that just leaves her weight, appearance, personality and history.
Once both Parra and Arthogate are complete, we can get started.

Daos: Two-Weapon Style Specialization for the other WP from INT.
Personality: (here is where following the god of persistence comes into play) The dwarf barbarian never gives up on anything even if it looks dire, he believes in persistence. The dwarf also feels the most connected when he is out hunting or camping in nature. One of the greatest flaws some call it strength others is that he will see something through to the end, unless there is no chance for survival then he will do the wiser and retreat so that he can regroup, gather aid and return to finish whatever task or quest it is he is on. He does not joke much but he does have a sense of humor, unlike many other dwarf kind he does not consume alcohol unless it is a celebration. Though this particularly rough looking dwarf, he is rather kind, and not gruff like most assume all dwarves are. Kind, quiet, but a true warrior.
History is the part I will need assisting with.

Alright, history. It doesn't have to be overly complicated. Let's start with what we know. He's a Neidar, so he likely grew up on the surface, not underground. He's a barbarian, so his tribe probably lives somewhere in the wilderness, not a city or town. So step one would be establishing where he was born. And this really boils down to what sort of terrain you wanted him to have grown up on. If it's arctic, then he'd be from Icereach. If it's desert, then I'd suggest either Khur or the Plains of Dust. If it's forest, I'd recommend Lemish, either the Darkwoods or the Godsfell Woods. If it's the hills or mountains, I'd suggest Taman Busuk. If it's the plains, maybe let's go with the New Coast area. If it's swampland, I'd say the Great Moors in Nordmaar. It's possible he grew up alone, surviving in the wilderness ('raised by wolves,' that sort of thing) but if not, he probably had a tribe he grew up in. Said tribe probably had a suitably dwarven sounding name like Stonecracker or Shalesplitter, or depending on the terrain he grew up on, maybe something like Icebreaker or Duneclimber. He would have lived through the war, but if his people were isolated enough, they might have not been involved at all. If they were involved in some way, how and why would depend on which side they fought on and where they live. After that, it would be a matter of coming up with why he left home and became an adventurer. Maybe his tribe was wiped out (in the war, or from something else) and he is the lone survivor, so he has no home to return to and just wanders the world, seeking his fortune. Maybe his people sent him on a quest of some kind--anything from tracking something or someone down (a fertility potion, a cure for a disease, a long-lost friend or relative, tribal spirits who've been scattered across the world, a relic sacred to his people), or it could be some kind of rite-of-passage to prove his adulthood, and he cannot return home until he does. Something like slaying a dragon, defeating 1,000 foes in honorable combat, or performing some kind of Herculean task. Maybe he's just lost. He got caught into the current of a strong river, which carried him far away. A dragon attacked, he grabbed onto its tail as it was flying away, realized he really did not think this through, and got thrown off miles away. He came across some ancient ruins, poked around where he shouldn't, and got teleported away, with no way back. Regardless, he is now trying to find his way home, but it's harder than it sounds. A map doesn't hep, because he has no point of reference, as he has never left his home before. And his home is just called 'home' among his people, so he can't just look for its name on a map or ask around. Maybe he was exiled. He broke some kind of law or taboo, or maybe the new chieftain is corrupt or jealous and found an excuse to send him away. Or maybe it was just bad luck (he stumbled upon the dead body of a brother and everyone thought he was the killer; a snake fell out of a tree onto his shoulders, which was seen as a sign of evil or corruption). From there, we can say he wound up teaming up with the current party.

Being hill dwarf I was aiming for hills, near forest and or river or lake area. So I guess somewhere in Taman Busuk. Even though this says it is a "a melting pot for evil races" which concerns me a bit. So I might just go with Godsfell Woods instead. I am leaning towards raised in a tribe. Hmm I like Stonesplitter (rather than shalesplitter) is that possible??

I know there is a Stonesplitter tribe in Balifor, which is more of a desert/savannah grasslands like area. The only information available on them is this: He could be part of that tribe, or maybe there's a second Stonesplitter tribe that splintered off that one.

Reminder for me - Find a name for the mule. - Decide what to put on the mule. - Study all the spells I could prepare. Which are a lot. (That's what I get for choosing the divinity with access to the highest number of spheres. 😭) I'll try to do everything within today. Edit: I can't find the description of the following spells anywhere: Allergy Field, Beastmask, Float, Pressure Resistence, Puffball, Recover Trail, Revitalize Animal, Whisperward

Edit: I can't find the description of the following spells anywhere: Allergy Field, Beastmask, Float, Pressure Resistence, Puffball, Recover Trail, Revitalize Animal, Whisperward Allergy Field, Recover Trail and Revitalize Animal are all from The Complete Ranger's Handbook. Beast Mask, Puffball and Whisperward are all from The Complete Druid's Handbook. You can access both of those books here. Float and Pressure Resistance are from Ships and the Sea. Not sure where you can find that book, so I'll provide them below.

Thanks Daos, those are actually cute spells.
I have another spell-related question. If I prepare, for example, Bless, then could I cast it as Curse, or am I forced to use the version I prepared?
As for now, I think I'll prepare: Bless, Cure Light Wounds (x2), Entangle
