I watched it, there were a few things i liked (some of the action, puzzles, tricks, etc) but at several points during the feature I found myself groaning at or being completely unable to suspend my disbelief of ridiculousness. Was it worth watching, I'd say so, but expect some more than typical action-movie physics bending :/

I watched Love and Thunder last night, the fourth Thor movie. I really enjoyed it; very much like Ragnarok. I find my favorite MCU films are the ones that lean into that Spelljammer-esque Cosmic Weirdness.

Incidentally has anyone else watched Rob Zombie's Munsters movie it was live on Netflix yesterday so I watched it. I actually liked it.
I did watch the Thor Love & Thunder on Disney+ a couple weeks ago I rather enjoyed it. I liked how they added a lot of other mythology gods in it.

Really looking forward to the next MCU entry, as well. New trailer just dropped:

Well, it's here: The Day of Reckoning is upon us. Well, I'll give them points for not including record scratches or twerking in the trailer, at least.

Yeaaahh...what sort of accent was he trying to pull off there? New Yorker?
On the flip side, Jack Black does a surprisingly good Bowser.

I finally got around to watching Jordan Peele's 'Nope' last night. What a wild movie. I was completely unable to predict what would happen throughout it all. And I can't really say much more without risking massive spoilers. But that was a fun trip.

I'm looking forward to that Ant-Man movie. I really like Paul Rudd as Ant-Man.
As for the movie NOPE I hadn't even heard of that one. Guess I'll have to check out a trailer or something.

Last night I saw 'Weird' the Weird Al Yankovic biopic, that is 100% true. In truth, the movie is something of a parody of biopics, including ridiculous 'creative divergences' like Al's parents not accepting him for what he was (a comedic song parodier who loves the accordion) or his torrid love affair with Madonna. Daniel Radcliff may not look much like the real Al, but he has the perfect energy for this film and really shines in it. If you've ever seen Al's other movie, UHF, the humor is very similar and in a way, it almost felt like I was watching that movie again. (There's even a blink and you'll miss it reference to Kuni's Karate and Spatula City).

Teaser dropped for the next Pixar film. Looks like it's about a city of elementals.

Full trailer for the Super Mario Bros movie dropped. Apparently there will be go-kart racing involved.

I just watched that with my IRL D&D group! I said the Donkey Kong fight was just Smash Bros.
